You will be a five minute walk to Mercado de la Merced where you can enjoy traditional Oaxacan meals at one of several Fondas. If you want to prepare your own meals in the house kitchen, the mercado has an excellent selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats. You will be a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Zocalo or central square of Oaxaca de Juarez.
