This place really excedes our expectations. The owners were accomodating to our desired dates. It was close to what we were coming to town for. We loved the privacy and the spunds of the river. This will be our go to place now. So much better than a campground or hotel.

Thank you Shelly. I am so glad it worked perfectly for you. You left the place like no one had even been there. Thank you for being so respectful. Looking forward to having you back!
This place was exactly as described. The path down to the Broad was nice to have. I got to see the bald eagle! I also saw softshell turtles and an otter! The view of the Broad was nice, but the site is still nice and hidden/secluded from view when looking from the river. I rented a kayak from Broad River Outpost and could barely catch a glimpse of the site, even knowing where to look, so that made me feel even more secure in the seclusion. The shower (specifically the hot water) worked well, as did the air conditioning in the sleeping area. The host was very responsive. 10/10 will stay again without hesitation (visiting from Texas).
This place is unique and wonderful. It looks like a portrait. The silence and tranquility that you feel is unbeatable. Seeing an incredible sunrise from your bed is a unique experience that we enjoy. Sleeping with the sound of the river water flowing even more incredible. It is a magical place to enjoy nature and the peace and tranquility that some of us seek. The only thing that is not consistent with such beauty is that there is no cell phone signal (only Straightalk), not even a signal for regular television, let alone internet. This place is unique to get away and enjoy nature.

Thank you Norma for the review. Yes, it is definitely about getting away. Sometimes away from tv and internet is a good thing😉
I hate to leave a great review not because anything at all was bad but I want to keep this location all to myself! The pictures don’t do it justice! It was so relaxing and beautiful! The owner had great communication as well. We loved it all around and we’ll definitely book again!
