Location was great, beds were comfortable, overall the apartment was well appointed. Unfortunately there was a strong musty smell, mainly in the common areas. We opened the windows and tried running the AC, but couldn’t get rid of it. We did report it to our host, who was going to check it out following our departure.
We stayed here to move our daughter into DePaul. I was a great place to stay- clean, beautiful street, great decor, and 2 blocks from her school. We will stay here again when we come back to visit!
We had a really nice stay at the Village Inn. We appreciated that artistic furnishings and decorations, and the thoughtful touches throughout. (We are a white noise family, so we were very happy to find a white noise machine in every bedroom!)The neighborhood is very quiet and also close to great shops and restaurants as well as the train. We enjoyed being able to walk to dinner in the evening, and walk to the train to take a short ride right to the Art Institute. The kitchen was great for our purposes, and it was really nice to have 3 bathrooms. Overall a great place! We would stay again.
The Village Inn is the perfect vacation spot. It fit our family of 5 nicely. Plenty of places to walk to not only for food, but shopping too. Also easy access to the train. We would stay here again.
We loved our stay at the Village In! It was perfect for our family of five! The location was perfect with easy walking distance to great shopping and restaurants, and just a couple blocks away from the brown and red train lines. The host was great to work with and everything was very smooth!
Great place to stay, absolutely nothing to complain about. Great layout, well stocked on everything. Some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a Vrbo rental. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance of the house. Awesome neighborhood Would definitely stay here again
Property was just as shown in the pictures. Great vibe in a wonderful neighborhood. Our host, Julie was a great communicator. Would definitely recommend.
Highly recommend! Very close to Lincoln park, the park is beautiful and free! The rooms are very clean and comfortable! Julie is very nice, always available for help!

Thank you so much for your response.
It was a pleasure to host you!
Had a wonderful time staying at the Village Inn recently with some friends from the college days meeting up in Chicago to catch-up and enjoy the St. Paddy's festivities! The place was exactly as pictured, easy to check-in and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would recommend to any group looking for a great place to stay in Chicago!

Great location!
House was plenty big for 7 of us girls. Walking distance or a short train ride to everything.
We were looking for somewhere to stay with our college kid near their school where we could just enjoy a weekend as a family. This totally fit the bill!

This was a great place to stay with friends. Julie Ann was easy to get a hold of and clear in the instructions. The neighbor was lovely and convenient. I’d stay again and at her other places as well!

Thank you Jennifer!
I hope to have you back sometime!
We were traveling with two of our adult children. This home with three bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths worked very well for us. Short walk to train stations for getting around Chicago area and walking distance to some nearby restaurants. Easy check in and check out process.
This very comfortable rental is in the heart of Lincoln Park, close to zoo & lakefront & numerous shops, eateries & cafes.
Our most enjoyable times were spent walking the beautiful neighborhoods or sitting on our stoop, watching the world go by.
A truly great Chicago experience!
