Kyle, the host, was excellent. Stayed Dec 26-30. The house was perfect for us as a couple and 2 small families to have our own spaces. The children loved the game room, pool table and the 2nd table to play games. The view was nice and felt secluded. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to cook. We would stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay. It was the perfect place for our family to spend a long weekend together at. Everyone loved all the things to do, kids and adults alike. The rooms are big and spacious so you never felt cramped. We enjoyed all the outdoor spaces as well. We also saw deer every morning! All in all it was just perfect and we had a great time. Perfect location for a ladies retreat with lifelong friends!

The home was an ideal setting for a weekend getaway with friends. With 10 ladies, we had plenty of space for sleeping & sharing meals or hanging out plus the jacuzzi & game room provided fun memories. It was close to old man’s cave and Hocking Hills Winery which were our top picks for activities. We highly recommend this home for anyone looking to get away with a big group.

I’m a father of four and a grandfather to six, and some of my most cherished memories were made during large, multigenerational family vacations — the kind where cousins laugh late into the night, grandparents tell stories around the fire, and everyone gets a chance to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with each other.

That belief is what inspired me to create this space. I wanted a place where families and friends — across generations — could gather under one roof, surrounded by nature, with room to breathe, play, rest, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Whether it’s a weekend getaway, a milestone celebration, or just much-needed time together, I designed this home to be more than just a stay. It’s a retreat for the soul. I hope your time here brings you the same joy, connection, and laughter it’s brought my own family over the years.

Why they chose this property

Hocking Hills has always held a special place in my heart. I started coming here over 30 years ago, bringing my four children to explore the caves, hike the trails, skip stones in the river, and roast marshmallows under the stars. Those adventures became lifelong memories — the kind you never forget.

Now, I get to do the same with my six grandchildren. Watching them experience the same joy, wonder, and freedom in these woods is priceless.

When I found this property — nestled in the heart of the Hills, private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature — I knew it was the perfect place to build something truly special. A place to gather, slow down, laugh, connect, and create memories that span generations.

Nestled on five secluded, wooded acres in the heart of Hocking Hills, this 5,000 sq ft luxury lodge offers total privacy, stunning natural views, and every amenity you need to reconnect, recharge, and make lasting memories. Inside, you’ll find two spacious great rooms, a massive game room, and 5 bedrooms designed for comfort, community, and fun. Outside, enjoy the hot tub, fire pit (with s’mores fixings), wraparound deck, and covered patio—all immersed in quiet nature.
