The house was perfect. There was 16 of us in total but it never felt crowded or cramped. We really enjoyed the 2 sitting rooms, which gave people the option to have some down time as needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook meals. The house was perfect for us and we will stay there if we ever get to that area again. The town was friendly and easy to find things to do and eat.
We had a great time for a 3 day weekend to reconnect with family. The house is great with the 6 bedrooms. Plenty of extra beds for larger family units. Comfortable beds and AC in all bedrooms (except 1 single with a fan that was fine even k the heat wave.) park and river nearby for local activity. Short drives to the shore, bike trails, or our favorite- the Botanical Gardens with the Trolls. Great time- thanks Axel for sharing your house.
This home was absolutely perfect for our extended family getaway! It comfortably accommodated my family, siblings, and their families, with plenty of space for everyone to relax, work remotely, or read a book. The location was great—right next to a park and just a short walk to okvillage shops and the river. We loved how centrally located it was, making it easy to drive to all the attractions we wanted to visit.A special shoutout to the hosts: I reached out on check-in day asking if there was a blender (we’d forgotten ours for smoothies), and they went above and beyond by ordering one that arrived the very next day. Incredible hospitality! The kitchen and dining area were ideal for gathering and sharing meals, and the layout gave us the perfect balance of togetherness and privacy. We had an amazing vacation and would absolutely stay here again
This stay could have only been better if it was longer. We had a large family group with 4 little ones under the age of 3. We loved all of the bedroom options to fit our needs as well as the location next to a park/ playground. There was even a baby gate at the top if the stairs for safety, which we greatly appreciated. The large kitchen was perfect for gathering and meals all together. The owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. There was ample parking off the street, a lovely quiet neighborhood and the fenced backyard provided lots of seating as well. The house is beautiful, well cared for and nostalgic. There is so much to do within a hour drive. We would love to come back to this area again.
