We really enjoyed our stay there. One minor hiccup, and they took care of it immediately. It wasn’t even enough to complain about. Love the house and the decor. The only drawback is the downstairs shower is a little small, so if you’re over 6 feet tall you’re probably gonna need to take a bath.

So, I do not get pleasure out of giving a bad review, I would much rather remain positive and help people build their businesses. Having said that, I believe it is my obligation to let others know the truth about this “Azelea Farmhouse.” I believe at one time it was a charming place, not so much now. Upon entering the smell of mold combined with filthy air ducts was literally terrible. We were unable to get any stations on the television except for a cooking station after spending way too much time on the phone with host, it was never rectified, needless to say, no football, news or movies for the entire weekend. Every nook, window, outside furniture, etc needed major attention. The bathtub paint was peeling off making it not very enticing along with bugs in the window sill. Bottom line, the place needs a lot of TLC and I’m sure it will eventually be someone’s favorite place to stay. Good luck to Rusty, I’m sure he is a wonderful man, it’s just real hard to pay top dollar and not feel comfortable, I hope this helps.

Hello, we are so sorry that your stay was not ideal. We spoke twice on the phone and were under the impression that the TV situation was rectified. Had you reached out again, we would have continued working on the situation. Had there been an expectation for cable or satellite at the home, it was clearly indicated on the VRBO listing that neither was available at the home. The listing states that we offer FireStick and the guests should bring their own codes. We appreciate you pointing out other areas in the home that need attention. Rest assured that we have addressed those issues. We strive to work with our guests and their needs. We hope the partial refund has alleviated some of the inconveniences of your stay.

Loved the neighborhood, there’s a Southern romance that surrounds the house. There was thought put into the decor and selection of books and furniture. Our host was wonderful, it’s peaceful and the garden is lovely- Enjoy!!

The house is lovely, in a very quiet and safe area. Communication with the owners was excellent. We really enjoyed it; we slept very well and were very comfortable. Ideal for two people, but there's a sofa bed for a third person.
