About this property

This 1910 beauty went thru a complete renovation this year completed 06/24 with a new master bedroom,separate studio with king bed and private bath.. Everything is new and updated to today’s standards.
We fell in love with this property because of its location , privacy and wonderful outdoor spaces. Ten foot ceilings, heart pine floors, tung and groove ceilings beautiful lighting and two amazing porches both front and back and new studio. The location is awesome...directly off San Marco and easy access to everything.
The local train comes bye on the hour driving St Augustine guests to the Fountain of Youth and many more amazing sites. The home is extremely well appointed with top of the line furnishings and supplies. Local craftsmen made the enormous barn wood doors and platform beds with luxe lucid mattresses. We tried to make this cottage one of a kind.The outdoor spaces really sets it apart. The front porch will catch your eye and you will love your morning coffee or tea or a glass of wine at the close of your day to relax and enjoy the scenery. The back porch is very large with a seven ft teak dining table and chairs...completely covered.
There is another area directly off the deck for relaxing in the sun or just
Chilling with family and friends. The property if fully gated so extremely
private and spacious.
Outdoor grill, gas stove Lagasse sm oven and washer dryer, oversized farm sink.
We have several other properties both south on Matanzas Beach and in town We definitely know how to spoil our guests and we take pride in our properties. Need anything just ask and Taylor and or myself and we will try to accommodate. We have been in the business of vacation rentals for nearly ten years. We moved here from Laguna Beach eleven years ago and have enjoyed living, working and personally enjoying everything St Augustine has to offer. The town, the restaurants, unique shopping, wonderful beaches and of course the people. The life style is really hard to beat anywhere in the World. Nice people, great weather, amazing beaches and a historic wonderful towne. Hope to see you soon!!!

Mariner House Visit

The property listing was totally accurate and even so a most appealing place to stay. We enjoyed the location relative to almost anywhere we chose to go. The walk downtown historic area was fun and easy and gave us opportunity to get to see different residences. The Mariner House neighborhood is great for walking. When booking it was a mild concern perhaps 14 days may be too long to stay but those concerns were gone immediately and it was difficult to leave this morning. The owners are very accessible and responsive ...very easy to communicate with before and during stay.

Wonderful!

The cottage has been beautifully renovated and the studio out back is fantastic. Everything you would want in a rental home or hotel was provided. The back yard and porch were delightful private spaces to further enjoy our time at the house. The location is ideal - a short 1 mile from the heart of downtown, in a cute neighborhood and steps away from fountain of youth, old jail, oldest store and history museums.

Relaxing

We had a very gracious host. The Marinar house is an adorable place. It has everything you need for a relaxing fun getaway. My little yorkies loved the fully fenced in yard. So many restaurants and coffee shops were within walking distance and the trolley was on tbe same street, as well as The Fountain of youth. Historic downtown was very close. Thanks so much for hosting us.

View from the front porch is amazing and the location in respect to town and all the wonderful sights St Augustine offers. Loved the cottage just new it needed a lot of love.
