Updated and open, this deluxe, family-friendly getaway boasts a well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar, an indoor dining table for six as well as a table for four out on the balcony, and a comfortable, sunlit living area with a flatscreen TV for streaming your favorite channels. On-site, you and your guests will also enjoy access to shared indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, fitness room, and easy beach access.

THINGS TO KNOW
Bluewater will be undergoing construction from August 1, 2023, until around March 1, 2024. During this period, noise will be audible during work hours, which are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Noise will include but not be limited to jackhammering, scraping, and power tools. Balconies may have limited access or be unavailable as well.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great location

We loved the condo and the location of it. One of the only negative things about our stay was there wasn’t any washcloths in the condo. We had to go buy some.

Rough 1st Day

I would like to start off with… the owner has been nothing but helpful and kind. When we arrived the air would not work. We followed instructions posted, and it did not come on. We called the posted help number. We were told the drain probably needed to be cleaned and all they could do was make a service request. My husband ended up cleaning the drain out after watching a how to video so we would have air because it was 96 degrees that day. The service person showed up the next day at 2:00. The TV had been replaced but not set up. It took my husband and son an hour to set the TV up. We didn’t know who to call for what. The Vacasa “help” line had us on hold about 30 minutes. When we got someone they told us to take pictures which I did send. While my husband was dealing with this. I was unpacking. The toilet in the master sounded like it was taking off into space every time we flushed it. The Vacasa people told me they would send someone the next day. I never had anyone come. The towels were under the sink in the master bath laying on top of the plunger. The towel rack had been pulled off. The kitchen had crumbs in drawers and some dishes had been put up and weren’t clean. The cleaning people called me the next day after I had complained, but I had already cleaned everything. Bedspreads and curtains need to be replaced. I felt like we spent the whole first first day cleaning and doing maintenance.

Good time

Condo needs updating. Master bathroom is way too small. It was somewhat clean but needs updating. There were crumbs in the drawers, cabinets & drawer under oven. Some of the dishes in the cabinets appeared somewhat dirty. Beds not comfortable. Did love the balcony! Also, enjoyed having an ice maker.

We loved the Orange beach area. There is alot to do if you have kids. The condo was really nice and clean with a awesome balcony. We stayed on the 9th floor and the elevators were fast. The two issues I had with the property itself. The first is none of the pools are heated. We went un April and the weather was around 75 so not warm enough to swim in a non heated pool. They do have a nice hot tub on-site but won't allow anyone under 13 to use it. My children would sit on the edge with their feet in it and we were reprimanded by security. There is no place for my children to warm up after trying to swim in the cold pool. Also we were literally the only family using the pool area. If it was crowded with adults I would definitely give them first shot. There were also cranky snowbirds on the property so I would say it was not the mist family friendly condo building. It's too bad because the condo itself was really nice but when we go back to Orange beach we will be staying elsewhere.
