About this property
Beautiful, comfortable house 25 minutes from Deauville, with summer pool
La Boisselière
With its south-facing terrace and large swimming pool, five golf courses and the beaches of Deauville only 20 minutes away, La Boisselière is the perfect place for a relaxing stay — whether with family or friends.
Spacious and filled with natural light, this traditional Norman country house offers every modern comfort: underfloor heating on the ground floor and hot-water radiators upstairs, high-speed fibre internet, 4K smart TVs, a large American-style fridge, an EV charging station, and more.
Accommodation for up to 8 guests
Garden level:
- A large living room with fireplace
- A fully equipped open kitchen with a generous worktop, American-style refrigerator, oven and microwave column, and dishwasher
- A utility room with sink, washing machine and dryer
- Separate WC
- A master suite with a 160 x 200 cm bed, large wardrobe, and private shower room
- Three large French doors (from the kitchen, living room and ground-floor suite) open onto the south / southwest terrace and the adjacent pool, offering stunning views of the half-hectare garden and its hedgerows. At dawn or dusk, deer are often seen wandering nearby.
In every season, sunsets paint the sky in magnificent colours.
- A beautiful oak staircase with built-in cupboards leads to the upper floor.
Upstairs:
Three additional bedrooms with countryside views:
- A second spacious master suite with a 180 x 200 cm bed, tilt-and-turn window, large wardrobe, private shower room, and separate WC.
This suite’s cathedral ceiling reveals a magnificent traditional oak frame.
- Two further bedrooms, each with two single beds, tilt-and-turn windows and a large wardrobe, share a third bathroom and separate WC.
⸻
A large private heated swimming pool
La Boisselière features a large private swimming pool, heated by a heat pump from mid-May to September.
The 11-metre pool, softly lit at night, is perfect for swimming.
An electric submerged safety cover ensures the protection of young children and preserves water temperature overnight.
Salt-water treatment provides hygiene and comfort without the smell of chlorine.
⸻
Traditional craftsmanship and respect for the environment
Built between 2022 and 2023 by local artisans from the Pays d’Auge, La Boisselière was entirely constructed using traditional methods and eco-friendly natural materials:
- Authentic solid oak timber framing
- 20 cm hemp-lime infill insulation
- Additional BIOFIB insulation, made from flax, hemp and cotton
- Slate roof with traditional local decorative patterns
- Mixed-frame windows and doors — aluminium on the outside, oak on the inside
Thermal and acoustic insulation were given special attention. Built to RT2012 standards, the house ensures exceptional comfort year-round.
Renewable energy: heating and domestic hot water via heat pump.
No air conditioning: ceiling fans in the living room and each bedroom provide natural cooling.
⸻
The charm of tradition with modern comfort
Unlike many old Norman houses that can feel dark inside, La Boisselière is bathed in natural light thanks to its large upstairs windows and three wide French doors opening to the south and southwest on the ground floor.
