WELCOME to the Outer Banks, Corolla, and our place: Life By The Sea!It is truly a piece of paradise. You will relax, enjoy beach, have adventures, and make memories to last several lifetimes.There is plenty of things to do for everyone and relax at the same time. Located less than a block from the beach and community pool! It is about a 4 minute walk. We do have a large 7 person hot tub for you to relax in.

All the comforts of home while enjoying the beach

What a wonderful stay- check in was a breeze and the house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was very well equipped to allow for us to cook on some days. The home is in a very nice neighborhood- we enjoyed feeding the turtles and the neighborhood pond, the pool and got lots of use of the hot tub. So many extras that were also a huge benefit….beach toys, beach chairs and great deck space for outdoor relaxation. We would definitely stay at “Life By the Sea” again.

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect house for our relaxing getaway. Just a short walk to the beach to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The house was clean, and we had plenty of space to relax and spend time together. The house had everything that we needed. It was a huge plus that we were able to bring our fur babies with us. We will be staying again when we come back to the OBX.

Communication prior to check in was timely and friendly. The house is accurately portrayed in the listing. It is well stocked and well maintained. and the location is great. I reached out to our hosts the first day, and his response was immediate. He even checked in the next day to follow up. Thanks!

Excellent beach vacation

This house is exactly as shown. Very clean and easy check in. Most all amenities were available. We did buy laundry detergent and extra paper towels/TP. All beach necessities are provided sans beach towels (cart, chairs, umbrellas, toys). Just a few houses from the beach! A short drive to the driveable beach access. John was very responsive with any questions about the property. Would recommend for return! Thank you!

Life at the Beach

What a beautiful home! It was spacious, comfortable, impeccably cared-for, and had every amenity we could want. It was steps from the ocean, and the community pool, with a beautiful hot tub on the property. The kitchen was well equipped, and the owner was attentive to every question and could not have been more gracious or accommodating. We loved our stay here, and would love to return. We were walking distance to shops and and the arcade with and our young kids loved feeding the turtles around the corner in the retention pond after dinner every night. We love the OBX, and this rental exceeded our expectations.

Best place we’ve stayed!

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. The home was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The new hot tub was wonderful. There were games, puzzles, and books for guests to use. The community pool was awesome, and the ocean was literally only steps away. We were able to bring our dog which was a huge bonus for us, and she loved laying on the upper deck watching the neighbors walk by. The community is quiet and convenient to shops and restaurants. The owner, John, was super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Destination Wedding

Why they chose this property

We came on vacation in 2021. We fell in love with the area and id something crazy, we bought a house. Never did I think I can own a home less than a block from the ocean and beach. We are loving the memories we are making with our children.
Features of the property:

- 4 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, and free inhouse laundry

- 1 King Size Bed, 2 Queen Size Beds, 2 Twin Bunk Beds, and Sleep up to 10 people

- Only 7 houses from the Beach Access, Less than a block from the Large Community Pool and Tennis Court

- 1 Mile from Shopping, Restaurants, Adventure Golf & Go Carts, Bike, Scooter, and Golf Cart Rentals.

- Less then a 10 minute drive from Corolla Lighthouse, Corolla Adventure Park, 4x4 Beach, Wild Horses, and driving on the beach.

- Hot Tub installed mid February of 2022 along with more outdoor furniture.

- Pet Friendly. Please clean and vacuum and furniture after your pet.

- During the Prime Weeks we offer Weekly rentals only (Sunday to Sunday) and Monthly rates.

What makes this property unique

The area is quiet, but very close to the beach and a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and minigolf. There is something for everyone. You will be less then 10 minutes to 4x4 Beach and the wild horses. The cleaning fee includes fresh clean linens and towels.
