Das frisch renovierte Haus liegt wunderbar in der Landschaft und man hat einen sehr schönen Blick. Es ist sehr ruhig und die kleine Straße kaum befahren. Am Nachbargrundstück wird manchmal gearbeitet, aber das war nicht störend. Die Inneneinrichtung ist cool. Zur Begeisterung der Kinder gab es eine Dartscheibe, einen Kicker, eine Boule Bahn und reichlich Platz zum Fußballspielen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Hambye und Roncey (Bäcker, kl. Supermärkte, Fleischer). Zu den Stränden muss etwas fahren, schön ist es etwa in Agon. Das Haus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen: Granville, Iles, Mont Saint Michel, Abbeye Hambye (auch schön zum Wandern), Coutances (Wochenmarkt). Mit etwas längeren Fahrten erreicht man auch Caen, die Landungsstrände oder Cherbourg. Einziger Nachteil: keine größeren Töpfe vorhanden (die Vermieter wollen aber Abhilfe schaffen) und ziemlich viele Fliegen (das gehört auf dem Land dazu, man muss auf geschlossene Türen achten)… Schön wäre auch eine etwas nettere Terrasse.Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert! Toll für Familien!
