A lovely well equipped old house and modern annex.
The local bar was a great bonus
Kitchen in main house a tad tight and internet very intermittent
Overall the house is of a very high standard and any issues quickly addressed by Florence
The property including the 2 bed cottage next door suited us in terms of number of beds and rooms for our wider family . The outside space was lovely as were the lounge and dining room. Lots of crockery and cutlery and we loved all the old stuff. However details of the sizes of the beds would have been helpful and honestly king or queen sized beds with no bottom rail where a double is indicated really needs to be provided as putting couples in 4'6" beds are no longer an option. Also
The top room is also accessed by a very steep stairs that one of the children fell down just coming to say hello to their cousins. I think it's an adults only room.
The 2 fires worked well until we discovered that smoke from the dining room fire was getting into the top bedroom so we immediately stopped using it. The hot tub was not clean on arrival and was eventually cleaned out and functioned well but we lost 3 days of use. Florence was extremely responsive - thank you. The local village shop was lovely with a cafe and bar as well and the local town close-by was great for extra shopping - a lovely traditional French town.

Einrichtung sehr liebevoll , Ausstattung sehr gut .
