The property exceeded our expectations. Clean and well-appointed, this property made our group comfortable and the views were amazing. Watching the sun set behind Antero from the hot tub is pretty special.

Loved the property and so did our dogs! Lots to explore. There were more bedrooms and beds than the listing said which was a plus. We were able to spread out a bit more. The pans were a little too worn and there wasn’t anything to wash the dishes except a wash cloth and a used sponge. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

The place was spacious for 6 adults and 4 dogs. It was a 12 minutes drive to Salida Town. The patio was great for star gazing, enjoying our cocktails, soaking in the hot tub and watching our dogs roaming around within the fenced backyard. The master bedroom and bathroom were big and the bed was comfortable. There was a balcony for us to enjoy our morning coffee. Everything went smoothly from checking in to checking out and the prompt communications from the host. We all had a wonderful time!

Everything was perfect, from the ease of check in and check out, to the fabulous home and property grounds. Incredible! We cannot WAIT to return. The home is spacious and well appointed, the views are spectacular, and the outdoor area was such a relaxing oasis. Perfection! Thank you so much for having us, I truly could not have asked for anything more.

Excellent place to stay! If you love 'country' this is definitely the place to stay! Beautiful home, well kept and clean. Once arriving and staying the first night, the hostess sent a text to check on us and make sure everything was going good and to see if we needed anything. The area around is was absolutely beautiful and our adventurous side was able to go hiking and exploring. Will definitely book this place again next time we are in the area!

We spent a couple of beautiful days skiing Monarch and enjoyed every minute of our stay at Bright Star. We plan on staying every year we come to Salida. Stunning home!!

Birthday Celebration

We loved the property and location. Enjoyed hanging on the patio while our dogs ran around the fenced area. Views and privacy were most awesome. Will be back again for another stay soon.
