Beautiful long-range views. Extremely close to downtown, but you feel far away. Cabin was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, and layout was comfortable. The car-port was an extra bonus and very helpful in all of the rain. Community was quiet and very safe.

Happy the cabin was clean, the kitchen well stocked, the layout comfortable, and the car-port helpful in the rain. We’d love to welcome you back anytime. - BRMR

A little pricey but the house was worth it based on location, views and accomodations. TVs were huge but we wish there was a tv in the upstairs, bigger bedroom. House was clean and fireplace very easy to use. House had 2 different kinds of coffee makers. They thought of everyting. We highly recommend.

You can’t beat the view. It was absolutely stunning. The sunrise was gorgeous! My only complaint would be the futon. The only seating in the house is the futon, and it is not very comfortable. Plenty of cookware, linens, and toiletries. Even had a box fan upstairs for those who can’t sleep without one. Someone came to get the garbage off the back deck which nearly gave us a heart attack. We had the door open. Just be prepared that may happen!

Thank you for staying at Owen's Perch! We’re glad you enjoyed the stunning views, sunrise, and well-stocked home. We appreciate your feedback about the futon and apologize for the surprise visit to collect the garbage. We’ll review how to make that service less unexpected for guests. - BRMR

Everything was as advertised except for the actual route to the property. Road was extremely steep and curvy. It was an adventure if you are adverse to the heights and the multiple curves. My partner was not at all ready for the ride. You must have all wheel or four wheel drive to reach the house. Having said that the views were fantastic and house was set up nicely to enjoy front deck outlooking the mountains.

Thank you for staying at Owen's Perch and for the helpful feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the views and the front deck. It is true that to get the best views you do need to climb the mountain, so we're glad to hear you found the curvy roads worth it. We hope you'll visit again. - Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals

I so enjoyed staying here with my two dogs. This was an incredibly convenient location to downtown Boone and not far from hiking off the parkway and shopping in Blowing Rock. It is a gated community so I felt very safe traveling solo. The community is very quiet and I enjoyed being outside on the deck and sitting by the firepit. Would definitely stay again!

This is a great option for a small cabin on the mountain with a fantastic view, especially during leaf season. The location was in great proximity to Boone and surrounding mountain areas.

My first time trying a VRBO. The Host company was efficient when I had a question or request. House was clean felt very safe in the community we were in but you were not too close to anyone! Sitting on the deck looking out was amazing. Can’t wait to do an another visit there! very relaxing and gorgeous scenery !!!
