The Chalet at Swan Lake is a traditional log cabin gently nudged in a more contemporary direction, playing up the existing architectural character while ushering in fresh fabrics, streamlined furnishings, modern décor, and plenty of natural light. The Chalet feels timeless thanks to the designer’s skillful blend of old and new.

The main floor features a spacious living room, 2 bedrooms with 11-foot vaulted ceilings, a full bathroom, an open concept kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a dining area.
The Loft features a big master bedroom with a master bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms.

The Chalet is a quick drive to Silver Star Mountain Resort. Enjoy all the winter fun Vernon has to offer and return home to relax at the Chalet.

Located right next to Splashdown Vernon. The Chalet is the best place to soak in those summertime vibes.

If you’re looking to hunker down for a cozy getaway the Swan Lake Market and Garden is located just across the highway for your grocery needs.

Our extended family had a fabulous Christmas in the chalet. There was plenty of room for seven people. The Christmas decorations were gorgeous and everything was very clean. We loved the hot tub! We found it quiet and private. It was fairly convenient to get to the ski hill. Whenever we had questions or needed something, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again. Thank you for the attention to details.

Great place to stay with family or a group of friends!

A group of friends and I stayed here for a ski trip to silver star. We had an amazing stay, it was a beautiful place not far from the ski hill! Would definitely consider staying here again!

We had a great family Christmas celebration with four generations enjoying the property and the convenience of the hotel amenities! The only thing lacking with this property is another bathroom but otherwise, perfect.

Log home in Vernon - Review

Nice log home close to all amenities. Home was in slightly poorer shape than expected with no access to decks due to unsafe railings. The basement of the home is used for maintained staff. Overall the quality was good. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Excellent big house in great location

We spent 4 very enjoyable days staying at the Chalet at Swan Lake. Our group ranged from a two year old, through to early 80 year old grandparents. A total of 10 people.The Chalet is big with plenty of space for all the family, bedrooms were large and comfortable. My only comment is that there is really only one bathroom to share for guests in 4 of the rooms, and a bathroom within the largest upstairs bedroom.This wasn't a big deal for us as we shared the upstairs bathroom with our children, leaving the downstairs one for the remaining family members.The kitchen is large with a big oven.The property was warm and cosy in the middle of winter. There is a large fireplace that is not for use, however the heating in all spaces was adequate.A large 8 person hot tub outside was a highlight for all of us.Location is excellent, close to Vernon shops and only 30 mins up to SilverStar mountain.Would stay again and recommend to others

Family reunion

We had nine people gather for a family reunion and this property fit the bill perfectly. Lots of room with 5 large bedrooms, the kitchen and living area was well stocked and set up nicely and the location was perfect for us. It is a two bath with one of them being the primary on suite so juggling the bathroom was the only challenge. Overall a great property!

Great getaway where friends reunited!

Seven of us just enjoyed four nights in this beautiful location. There wasn’t much to do on Swan Lake or at least we didn’t find out if there was. Kal Lake wasn’t too far and we figured out the routes to the parks to hike, bike and stand up paddleboard. The house is absolutely beautiful, beds are fantastic, and it’s absolutely picturesque. There are a few plug-ins where wires were exposed underneath the cupboards that was a bit of a concern for first responders staying with us. As well there are a few little things in the kitchen missing like measuring cups, cheese grater, and garlic crusher… But nothing that we couldn’t live without. I would recommend this place for sure if you don’t mind driving to the activities you want to do.

Lovely spot and spacious clean house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and they were open to our input at the end as a fairly new VRBO listing. They were happy be happy to receive input. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean And when the deck is repaired it would be a lovely place to sit out in the morning or evening. We were a group of 10 and it accommodated all sorts of moving around and mixing up because of the sheer size of rooms and there was also a pretty little green space on the hill behind the house! When we did call and ask for something they did respond but not quickly so that affected my rating but otherwise great to speak with. Overall we recommend this house!
