This was the coolest cabin ! My sons and I stayed for a hiking weekend and it is so perfect. This authentic 1840 hewn log cabin has all the comforts you need but remains true to its roots. It's big on the inside, and the combination of the rough hewn logs, stone fireplaces and footpaths, huge wooden front porch and kitchen porch make this a perfect mountain retreat. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and they have very thoughtfully created a true cabin that is also very comfortable and homey. Have coffee on the back porch, sit and watch the evening fade on the front porch, and then sit in the yard to stargaze. We've rented VRBOs for 20 years and I can't recommend the cabin or the hosts highly enough. Well done, Anne and GA. Thank you

Weekend get-away

Such an adorable cabin, tucked away from the main roads. This was the perfect place to stay during our Martinsville race weekend. We enjoyed the quiet and solitude of the cabin after time at the track.

Peaceful Paradise

This is our 3rd consecutive year staying. Love everything about this place!! Especially the bath towels. I need to know where I can buy these.

Paying extra

The cabin and stay was great! The only thing I have a problem with is making you pay for any extra people. We had 4 beds so I the whole place was ours so it doesn't make since to make you pay for each person, whether its 2 or 4 or more.

We’re glad you enjoyed our place and would be happy host you again. We do have a charge per guest over 2 which is stated in our listing since an increase in guests and use of beds increases our cleaning costs and expenses. Hope to see you again!

Great place to stay very relaxing

Husband and I stayed for 4 days very detailed instructions on checking in and out nice quiet place very cozy nice beds if you forget anything at home most likely it was at the cabin thanks for a wonderful stay
