Dream location at 1600m Apartment Rubin on the upper floor of Chalet Magda-Lena

On a former high alpine high above Heiligenblut stands in a wonderful panoramic position with all around mountain views, the Chalet Magda. Sunny position, if the valley is in the shade, you can enjoy the sun for hours at this altitude at 1600m.
Good access on a paved road to the property.
We rent in the Chalet Magda the upper floor apartment Rubin with its own entrance and the associated parking.
Small patio at the entrance, 2 bedrooms with double beds and view to the Hochalm, in the living area again 2 full-size sofa beds 90x200 cm, space for up to 5 guests,
1 bathroom with tub / toilet, shower, window with mountain view, 1 fully equipped kitchen, corner seat and in the living room wood stove, satellite / TV, radio, south / west facing balcony with stunning mountain views.
The apartment was high quality with many details and lovingly furnished.

It is possible to rent the entire staircase with door to the lower apartment and the whole chalet, which can accommodate up to 9 people.

In summer, guests have access to a barbecue area.

The hiking trail leads past the property.
In winter, winter hiking trail from the chalet, ski boot trail nearby.
The Heiligenblut Ski Area is about a 7 to 10-minute drive away. There free parking.

Not happy

Pros: Property and view was as advertised and better. Cons: When we checked in the man who met us (Klaus) told us we should not have been able to book the property in November because the entire area is shut down until Mid December. He was right. After 2 nights of travelling 45 minutes to find a place to eat we had to leave. I contacted Hannah and asked for a refund for 3 of the 4 remaining nights of our stay and relayed the conversation with Klaus and she told us too bad and it was our responsibility to do our due diligence to check if the area was open or not. Shame on you Hannah. I cannot recommend this property because of how we were treated and if you want to stay at Hannah's property make sure you do your due diligence before you book.

Dear guest In November you booked a self-catering holiday apartment (not a hotel or guesthouse) at 1600m in a wonderful, sunny location. In their fully equipped apartment they had a kitchen with all appliances, dishes, dishwasher with free taps etc. everything you need to be self-sufficient and have a nice stay. Therefore, there is no legitimate reason at all for a refund of your booking amount. The fact that no bars were open in Heiligenblut and Mölltal is untrue!! We are totally horrified and disappointed by your hurtful and insulting letters, even in a review where our accommodation is unjustifiably portrayed poorly. Every normal guest knows that in November (off season) there is a lot of peace in the mountains.

Perfekt und in Traumlage!

Eine sehr gepflegte und ausgesprochen saubere Unterkunft in Traumlage. Es ist alles da, was man in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt und das, was da ist, funktioniert einwandfrei. Mit dem Auto sehr gut zu erreichen und ein Traumblick auf die Bergwelt. Auf dem Balkon genießt man von mittags bis spät in den Abend die Sonne mit Alpenpanorama. Das Vermieterpaar kümmert sich reizend und mit viel Herzblut um alle Belange. Hätte ich doch nur ein paar Tage Urlaub mehr im Jahr :-) Grüße an K. und H. von Oli und Claudi
