Brand New in the rental program, this 2020 Stilted 2Bd/2Ba is located on a wide 60' sparkling canal with immediate ocean access in just seconds! 1 king bed and 1 queen bed plus a queen pull out sofa. Mini split air conditioners allow you to set your temperature in each room. The most perfect sportsman's retreat, with everything you will need, with oversized seawall to accommodate PLUS SIZE BOAT! Features a newly poured sprawling 44' concrete dock, equipped with dock posts, mooring whips, fish cleaning table, cleats and swim ladder. 20 and 30 amp receptacles at dock. Use of the downstairs locking enclosure, the 350# per day commercial ice maker and large chest freezer is available for guests. Being an oversized lot, there is more room to enjoy the outdoors, with a spacious side yard garden oasis, surrounded by tropical oversized planters to add privacy, while at night, lounge around and view the stars and moon under the clear night sky. Share a cocktail or two with your friends at the “Tipsy Turtle Bar” downstairs. High speed internet and cable tv installed and also wired for Directv. Just bring your directv box(s) to enjoy all your programming from home. Walk or drive to The Square Grouper without ever getting on U.S.1. A mural called "My Happy Wall" was hand painted by a local artist, and depicts the beauty of our natural surroundings, from roosters and flamingos to a conch house, a dingy boat, to turquoise blue waters, this wall will make you smile!

Fun February vacation

We had a great stay. We really enjoyed the house and dock. The canal was easy to navigate. The house was perfectly furnished and very clean. Morning coffee on the porch was awesome. We docked our 25ft boat with ease.

Bucket List Trip

Traveled from Buffalo with our friends into Ft Lauderdale and drove through the Keys and all the bridges. This location was perfect to travel between Marathon and Key West. Four days was not quite long enough to enjoy Venture Out Resort and do the sightseeing a few extra days would have been great! Definitely would stay here again!!

Great property and location

This is our second time staying at Venture Out on Cudjoe Key but first time in a house. We really enjoyed it. Lots to do for the kids on property and in the area.

Annual Memorial Day trip to the keys

Great Rental

Highly recommend this property. Great location and amenities. The property manager was extremely helpful in providing information on additional trailer/car parking. They also responded very quickly with any issues with the property. We would definitely stay again.

Great place

Nice property, did have a few dead bugs on arrival and they came and sprayed right away. Otherwise very clean and kitchen was well stocked! Neat downstairs area by the water and great restaurants nearby.

nice house with no soap or paper towels

The house was very nice. Our only complaint is the sliver of soap in each bathroom and no paper towels. We really enjoyed the house but unfortunately when we refer to this trip in the years to come it will be the house without soap and paper towels. For 5 of supplies it would have been a perfect stay.

Beautiful setting and home

On the water in a fun community. Close to key west but quiet and relaxing. Near restaurants and activities. Dryer was broken, towels stained, floors made feet dirty. Would do it all again.

Great Property-Will be Back

The property was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The bikes are fun to ride to the pool or ocean swim spot. Every resident (that we came in contact with) of Venture Out was nice, and I'm sure they knew we were tourists. Only a 25 minute drive to Key West was a plus for this location as well. There are fish in the canals that can be caught and at the ocean swim spot. Great spot for our family of 4. One of the boys slept on the pull out couch and it was comfortable, no bar in the back. We will consider this property or another one in Venture out for our next visit.

A nice stay

We overall enjoyed the stay at this cudjo key property. There was zero communication with any property manager. To the point where I had to google her name and text her at 11pm to figure out how to get into the house. There was zero instructions. There was no welcome packet that included Wi-Fi or garbage or anything. The house is very very small and narrow. We couldn’t get two suitcases in the bedroom. Overall it was clean and worked.

Not Just For Sportsmen

Loved this house. Everything is CLEAN and new. The kitchen was well equipped. The Internet was lightning fast and we loved being able to adjust temperature and humidity in each room. While I loved the inside, the boys couldn’t stop talking about downstairs. Brand new seawall with mooring whips and shore power. A commercial icemaker, bait freezer and refrigerator all downstairs right behind the beautiful bar and outdoor furniture. 4 bikes also. Only issue we had was that some doves made a nest on the light by the front door so we were careful not to disturb them while their eggs hatched. We will definitely stay here again.

No locks on doors. Smokey unit. No trailer parking.

Very smokey unit being borderline un-inhabitable despite being "No Smoking". Woke up with bloody nose and running outside everymorning to catch breath. No locks on doors. No trailer parking when told it was availible. Property manager aware but won't fix.

Alan, We are very sorry for your experience. This unit has always been and continues to be non smoking. No other guest has ever complained about smoke. The unit is brand new construction and all the furniture is new. The locks are operational. You need to pull up the handle and turn the lock. We have added a label by the handle with directions for future guests (assuming that is what you are talking about). Regarding your nose bleeds. Is it possible the dehumidifiers were turned down too low relative to what you are used to? We do see a note in the system that you called our office referencing the smell and the locks. A new employee gave you a wrong and totally unhelpful response and we apologize for that. Please feel free to reach out to us if we can be of further service regarding your stay. First time to VO

We thoroughly enjoyed the property. It was wonderfully located on the canal and was the perfect size for our family of four. The kitchen was adequately stocked— fyi, a new manual can opener is needed— that certainly didn’t impact our stay. Regarding the cleanliness there was black dust under the house that made it impossible to walk without shoes. I’m sure it tracked in although we worked hard to avoid it. Perhaps the gray dust is asphalt residue but it’s everywhere. We did wash under the property ourselves to minimize the impact while we were there but it does need to be addressed overall on the property’s floor surfaces. I’m sure it’s an easy fix with power washing and a proper scrubbing of the floors indoors. The cleanliness was otherwise in good order and acceptable. We would definitely stay in the resort and this property again as I’m sure it will be addressed by the owners.

The "black dust" you are seeing is called coral dust and is literally in the air and on every surface here in the keys. When you open the door of the house it actually blows inside and everyone thinks the unit is dirty when it has just been cleaned. Pretty much as advertised/pictured. Be aware the gated community includes RV lots, various kinds of manufactured homes and newer construction like this, which didn't matter much to us, but this is probably one of the newer and nicer of the properties in that community. The only thing I will mention - and we did not complain or in any way seek to try and have this remedied while there as our stay was too short and busy to have to deal with it - is there was an underlying smell of stale cigarette smoke that became more evident with each day. At check in, the house just smelled like cleaning product. 1 day later, it smelled like cleaning product over top of cigarette smoke and 2 days later just smelled like smoke, enough that we woke with scratchy throats by the 3rd day. Some folks may not care in the slightest and maybe if we'd spoken up the management company would have done an ozone generator treatment or something to take care of it. There is signage prohibiting smoking in the house and threatening loss of deposit, but that doesn't really help the next guest if the cleaners or management company isn't on top if it and willing to spend the time and to remedy it. To be fair, it otherwise seemed clean and new and the geographic location was perfect for us to explore the whole area from Key West to Islamorada.

Great fisherman’s spot

House is very clean and updated, ultimate fishing spot. Room for our 25ft boat the the house, bait cooler, cleaning table, you name it. Only slight issue was parking, there is an overflow but it seems to fill up fast. They do have boat trailer parking which was a plus.

Great fishing setup!

If you’re looking to fish, this is your spot. Easy boat launch, huge dock frontage, personal ice machine, cleaning table, great lounge area by the canal, and CLEAN! The Venture Out neighborhood is strict, but it’s clean and quiet.

great get away

We went to the Keys to fish and the seas were rough....we spent more time at the home and was so comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out downstairs and grilling out. We enjoyed the house inside as well. Its well stocked with everthing we needed. The community was great bc we had plenty to do...biking, pickle ball, swimming, looking out over the water, etc. Would return!

Amazing!!

This place exceeded all our expectations the house was super clean all the amenities were first class we had access to the ice machine and bait freezer which was huge for us because we brought our boat and did a lot of fishing. There were bikes to use and a brand new grill to cook on I just can’t say enough about how great this place is we will definitely be coming back!!

There is no boat trailer parking and the overflow lot for a 2nd vehicle is not guaranteed and is first come first serve and may not be reserved in advance. Starting April 1st, AT&T will begin Operation Fiberoptic VO. Three teams will swarm the park in multiple locations. Please make sure your renters are aware that there will be park-wide construction. Potholes, noise, & wifi outage will be the norm. for 4-6 weeks, while they bring us up to date. Due to ongoing upgrades inside the association some of the amenities may not be available during your stay and there maybe some interruption in electric service as repairs are made.
