Welcome to the Morning Moose, the ideal 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo for your family or group, located at Purgatory Resort and offering terrific convenience in all seasons. This ski-in getaway sits off one of Purgatory's favorite runs, Lower Hades. A three-minute walk from the front door to a quick ski down to the high-speed six pack in the morning, and then you'll be right back to your door in the afternoon. Open the front door to mountain biking and hiking trails in spring, summer, and fall. The location is ideal, offering amazing views while being close to Purgatory's main village that boasts a great selection of restaurants, shops, and primary amenities.
This two-story jewel offers plenty of space for large groups and features an open floor plan, on-site parking, washer and dryer, and internet access for all your needs. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the living room or the huge balcony - your own private scenic overlook, and the perfect spot for your morning coffee or apres ski beverage!
The upstairs (main) level features a welcoming living area, full kitchen and dining area, powder room, and spacious master bedroom with a king bed and full private master bath. The downstairs includes a full bath and two more bedrooms, one with a double and twin bed, and the other with two bunk beds - one with a full sized futon and twin upper, and the other with two twins. Ample space for everyone to gather and relax -- the perfect spot to create your next mountain getaway memories!

Great place to stay! Everything was pretty updated, and the views were great. It’s a little bit of a walk to get to the lift, but it’s not bad. Maybe 5 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is okay. There are some things you'll like about it and some you won't. First, a little about Purgatory Resort...you are exactly between Durango and Silverton. Each are 25 miles. That is your closest grocery store. There are some provisions around the resort, but not much. Good to know going in.Ski base is about a half mile walk. If you have gear, it's a haul...especially at the end of the day. Overnight storage is 10 per set of skis/poles (no boot storage). Locker rental 7/day, no overnight storage.The condo, likes: plenty of space, good size bathroomsdislikes: kitchen/utensils were dirty, one towel per customer; coffee maker overflows very easilyI know different owners supply different levels of items, but this condo is pretty sparse when it comes to soaps, lotions, coffee, etc.

Spacious with a beautiful view

The photos were very accurate. A great space for our family of four - all adults. Kitchen was spacious and there was plenty of pantry space for food. Excellent view out the deck. Great selection of games to play. I would not consider it ski in ski out, but close enough for about a 7 minute walk carrying skis to the lift area. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was good. we are from Texas so even with the cooler temps in CO, we could have used an ac. So, we just left the windows open and the fans on. There were some minor details that could have been addressed but nothing that kept us from enjoying the stay. The view off the balcony is awesome! The space is great for a crowd.

Comfortable condo that met all our needs with a view

I can’t say enough about this condo. It was clean, beautiful and comfortable. There was plenty of room to relax and enjoy time with my cousins and their families. The condo also had amenities that made our snowboard experience much better such as a mud room and plenty of hooks above the heater for our snow gear. There was also plenty of storage in the pantry for all our dry goods. Small details such as water filter jug and electric kettle. We hope to stay here again in the years to come.
