Detached holiday home in picturesque Noordholland, close to the beach

In a wonderfully quiet location in the family-friendly holiday park Gudea you will find your new home for an unforgettable holiday. The detached house has a secluded garden with a sun terrace and a beautiful, unobstructed view of the traditionally blooming tulip fields in North Holland.
The park has an intact, beautifully designed children's playground.
You can reach the beach at Sint Maartenszee safely in about 2.5 kilometers via the bike path or by car. The wide dune landscape is largely a nature reserve and is crossed by extensive paths for running or cycling.
No matter whether you want to spend a relaxing day with the family on the beach or use the extensive beach for kilometers of wonderful hikes, Sint Maartenszee is the perfect place for a wide variety of holiday experiences.
The surrounding area shines with historical cities like Schagen, Alkmaar and Horn. Amsterdam is also only an hour away.
In Sint Maartenszee there are several shops, a cleaning service, two restaurants, a snack bar, mini golf course at the campsite, a small leisure park, a small swimming pool with sauna, bike rental and opportunities for horse riding or canoeing. A popular flea market takes place on Mondays in high season.
There are various shops and restaurants nearby. The next bigger place is Callantsoog. Here you have the opportunity to stroll along a village promenade and enjoy Dutch specialties.
Schagen also offers plenty of scope for successful holiday shopping, 12 kilometers away.
In addition to the historic old town with many shops, another attraction is the cheese market in Alkmaar - "Little Amsterdam". This takes place on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from the first Friday in April to the first Friday in September in the city center.

lovely little house backing onto flower fields

Unfortunately, due to illness, our stay here was curtailed and so we only stayed for two nights. The well maintained garden backs directly onto the flower fields, with lovely views to include both original windmills and wind turbines. The house was clean and very well equipped and the host incredibly accommodating. Thank you.

Kleines gemütliches Haus in guter Lage

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen wie den Helder, Texel, Alkmaar und viele verschiedene Strandabschnitte. Das Haus war im unteren Bereich platztechnisch in Ordnung für 6 Personen. Der Schlafbereich war beengt. Die Fliegenschutzgitter waren leider nicht ganz passgenau für die Fenster, daher wurden uns die Stechmücken zum Verhängnis. Die Sauberkeit könnte auch noch optimiert werden. Die Küche war soweit gut ausgestattet.

Alles in allem war die Unterkunft gut, in der Umgebung gibt es viele schöne Unternehmungen, die man tätigen kann. Nord-Holland ist immer wieder eine Reise wert, auch wenn das Wetter dieses Mal nicht mitgespielt hat.

Radurlaub im Ferienhaus

In der Homepage über FeWo sind 2 Badezimmer ange-geben. Diese Angabe war für unsere Buchung aus-schlaggebend und zu unserer großen Enttäuschung unzutreffend. Allein die Bilder sind für eine Entscheidung nicht massgebend. Wären wir mit einem befreundeten Ehepaar gereist und nicht mit Schwager und Schwester hätten wir den Urlaub abbrechen müssen. Unseres Erachtens muesste mal dringend in Reno-vierungsmassnahmen (viel zu wenig Steckdosen insbes. im DG) und in eine intensive Grundreinigung investiert werden. Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner in neuestem Zustand, allerdings bei der Endreinigung nicht berücksichtigt. Ein geschlossener, abschließbarer Fahrradraum mit Lademöglichkeit (in unserem Fall 4 E-bikes) wäre zeitgemäß erforderlich. Die Fahrräder konnten nur im Freien abgestellt werden, ohne Schutz vor Regen und Morgentau. Vorhandene Vierfachsteckdose belegt mit Laden der E-Bikes, weitere freie Steckdosen im EG jeweils nur eine im Wohnbereich und im Bad. Eine Weiterempfehlung können wir derzeit leider nicht aussprechen. Alles in Allem haben wir uns mit der Situation arrangiert und einen schönen Radurlaub bei angenehmen Temparaturen verbracht. Um ein Abwasserproblem wurde sind innerhalb weniger Stunden durch Firmeneinsatz kompetent gekümmert.

Gemütliches und gut ausgestattetes Haus

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend mit einem Rasengrundstück nach Süden. Die Einrichtung ist funktional und teilweise neu (Küche). Es gibt einen Parkplatz am Haus und einen weiteren ca. 50m entfernt. Der Kontakt zur Eigentümerin war sehr nett und bei Anfragen wurde umgehend reagiert.

Objekt mit sehr schönem Garten !!!

Es stimmte alles. Wir konnten den Garten mit der schönen Aussicht , die Terrasse bei sehr schönem Wetter ausgiebig nutzen. Durch die Lage war auch der Strand mit dem Fahrrad gut erreichbar.
