My family and I had an amazing long weekend at Pam and John’s cabin. This was our first time ever in a VRBO and I’m not sure anything else will ever compare! They were very gracious, helpful, and friendly. As for the property itself, it was immaculate. It had everything we needed, and I loved the decor, especially the homemade touches! Our two children enjoyed exploring the property and they loved the dock. The location is great too, only five minutes from all the good shops and restaurants in Wolfboro. We visit New Hampshire every year and will definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!
Our visit here was outstanding. The view of the lake was gorgeous and the owners made our trip easy with their service. They also offered great ideas for hikes, restaurants, and other sites to see. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the quintessential New England experience
This cute little cabin is nestled right up against Lake Winnipesaukee. Beautiful waterfront views from cabin interior and screened in back porch. This cabin is located 5 minutes from Wolfeboro Main Street and there is plenty of other activities nearby. Would love to stay here again!
This was my first time using Vrbo and I was a bit Nervous, however, it was a wonderful experience. The owners were nice and easy to talk to and no demands. They supplied the wood for the fire inside as well. I highly recommend this place for peace and relaxation.
Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Just what we were looking for…a quaint rustic retreat with all the comforts of home. Can’t beat the lake views. Owners were very very friendly and responsive. I would definitely return.
We spent a long weekend at Lake Winni in June 2025. The hosts, that live next door, are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The cabin is spotless and the view is to die for. Instructions for the cabin were clear and easy to follow. Beds were comfortable, air worked great, it was fairly hot when we were there. The water is CRYSTAL clear, one of the most beautiful lakes we've ever seen. We would not hesitate to go back to stay here. Thanks again for having us!!!!
We loved our stay at this 70 year old cabin on the lake. The only problem was that our stay was too short! Warm memories of my Grandpa's cabin a long time ago. Very clean & comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. We hope to return!

Beautiful cottage on a gorgeous lake!
We had a lovely stay and the cottage is charming, spotless, and beautifully decorated (the custom birch-trimmed furniture was beautiful). We loved sitting in the screen porch in evenings. The private dock and the lake made for excellent swimming and there is so much to do in the area that we couldn't have asked for more.

Charming Cottage on Winter Harbor
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at West Breeze. We rented a boat and toured the lake, took our kayaks out on Winter Harbor, and windsurfed on my sailboard. The quaint cottage was comfortable and well-appointed and reminded me of my family camp where I spent many summers growing up. Thank you Pam and John!
We chose the cabin because we needed a quiet place where I could work on some writing. That did not quite turn out like we thought, but we found Wolfeboro to be a marvelous community. I probably could return again and again. Marvelous cabin. Wonderful town
This cottage was precisely what we wanted with an old-fashioned screened in porch overlooking Winter Harbor with a sandy bottomed swimming area, a dock, wooden screened doors, outdoor seating and all of it nestled in the woods. Perfect for our needs.
Pam and John couldn’t have been more helpful.
Many thanks for an outstanding visit. We hope to come back sometime in the future.

Outstanding and relaxing!
My wife and I rented this property to see if we might like the area in retirement. Needless to say we loved it! Even though it rained a good part of the trip, we had a nice fire in the fireplace and were completely relaxed inside. John and Pam were great! The cottage was impeccable and the views were outstanding! We will definitely be back!
The beautiful cottage has all the amenities that we were looking for and it was spotless. We loved the birch bark furniture and the screened-in porch. Sitting by the lake, swimming off the private dock, kayaking, and the peaceful nights were a plus for us. We went into town each day to walk, and explore. Pam and John are warm, kind, accomodating hosts! We will be back next summer!
A traditional lakeside cottage, with knotty pine panelling, fireplace, and beautiful views, pristine clear lake water, and proximity to wonderful Wolfeboro. I was looking for a Winnipesaukee experience like those I remember from my youth in the 1950s, and this is what I got, along with 21st c amenities like WiFi, cable TV, and modern appliances. Owners Pam and John were generous and attentive hosts.
This was a lovely quaint little property with an absolutely surreal view of the lake. The fireplace was wonderful and we were very comfortable. The only reason I wouldn’t give a five star review is that there wasn’t a bar of soap which would have been handy and it is an additional fee for bedding and towels. My feeling is that when you’re paying over $500 a night those should be should be included. That would be the only reason I would not stay there again. Other than that, lovely spot!
Our hosts could not have been better. They were welcoming, helpful and responsive to all our requests. We enjoyed all their restaurant and activity suggestions. The cottage was clean and ready on arrival. It is about 50 feet from the lake shore with its own private dock. The view is to the west across a wide expanse of water. We heard loons calling as we sat to enjoy the sunsets. Wolfeboro center is minutes away by car. There is an outside grill, screened porch and feeling of privacy. The wood pile was stocked. We highly recommend this place for a small family and would stay here again.
This cottage is adorable and in an amazing location. I’ve gone to lake winni every year for 38 years and this is a really desirable spot - wolfeboro / winter harbor. The house is adorable and spotless. It’s small (as expected) but very well equipped. My husband and two small children and I had a wonderful stay.
It rained all day one day and we made a fire and the kids watched Bluey on the tv. On the nice days the kids swam, used the kayaks with us, and went fishing. Becuase of the drought the lake was really low so they couldn’t jump off the dock but I’m sure in normal times they could. It was still deep enough for a boat to pick us up.
Pam and John are really friendly and gracious. You really can’t go wrong with this property.

Gorgeous and wonderfully secluded
This place is in a stunning location, with excellent water access and views. I expected to feel very exposed on this big lake packed with houses. However, this cottage and the surrounding lots, are quite old and are nestled in to a fairly private area... at the height of the season, we couldn't see any neighbors even from the dock, just the owners (who were barely seen) and people on boats in the water. One could completely 'get away from it all'. However, it is also very close to town (5-10mins drive) so its really easy to pop in to grab a meal, catch a show, or whatever.
The cottage itself is fairly small (as described),but super cool. This is a real deal, well built, vintage lake cottage. Awesome deck and dock. Awesome owners - both Pam and John were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Only thing to note is that while there is WiFi and DirectTV, there is limited internet data available (usage, not bandwidth), and very limited TV Channels... if you want to watch movies, etc..., bring your own DVDs or download stuff prior to arrival.
Cozy cottage with direct lake access. The property includes the cottage and the owner's house, but it was still very private. We loved our relaxing getaway!

About the host
Hosted by Pam Hopkins
My husband and I are life-long residents of NH. In fact Pam inherited this beautiful property from her dad. We love the outdoors and hope you, too, will love our Winter Harbor property on Lake Winnipesaukee, 3 miles from downtown Wolfeboro!
Why they chose this property
With a true western exposure, you can enjoy the sun all day, as you swim in the crystal clear water, with sandy bottom. Paddle Winter Harbor in the two kayaks that are provided with the rental or sit back on the screened porch or around the fire pit and listen to the loons.
What makes this property unique
Quiet, secluded, surrounded by nature and located in a sheltered cove.
