L'Eden Roches, indoor pool, rocks, immersion in the Fontainebleau forest

L'Eden Roches – House and swimming pool in the middle of nature, nestled in a rocky sandstone cirque typical of the forest of Fontainebleau, in 11,500 m2 of natural plot classified Natura 2000 and fully fenced.
The house, vast, bright, both solar and evening, connected and modern, fully equipped on 185 m2 + 95 m2, indoor swimming pool 10x4.5m heated all year round, large terraces, gardens, lawns, meadows on sandstone sand. A very quiet, exclusive and privileged place.

THE ACCOMMODATION
October 2025 is our first entry at Vrbo.
However, we have experience of many home exchanges with the United States, over long periods of time and beautiful homes. We hope that you will be enchanted by this atypical place.

The house:
The organisation of the house is a series of open, shared spaces, with cosier and more intimate places.
The swimming pool heated all year round, all with bay windows, is open to the outside. It is secure, as it is closed if necessary for children.
Pool towels are provided as well as a set of two bath towels per person.
A mezzanine lounge with large sofas allows you to relax with a drink, play a game of pool or table football. The extended swimming pool gives access to the deckchairs on the south-facing terrace.
Ping-pong enthusiasts will have the outdoor table available for the parts in the shade of the oaks.

You can have meals in the dining room for 12 people, open to the modern kitchen and well equipped with all the useful culinary accessories, cutlery, electric aids: classic oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle, filter coffee machine, Nespresso coffee machine, push coffee machine, coffee grinder, toaster, Kitchenaid food processor, ice cream maker, cutlery, crockery and glassware in quantity for large meals.

At the Eden Roches, warm evenings offer the possibility of dining on the terrace, around the teak table for 12 people. At lunchtime, a huge 4x4m parasol will allow meals in the shade.
You will also have the choice of the living-dining room, possibly in front of the 4K Smart TV or on the large terrace in the small adjacent lounge areas, or even further on in the property, on the dry sphagnum lawns, close to rocks and pines, under the stars. A few hammocks are at your disposal.
Board games, books, ping-pong table...

We have taken particular care of the comfort of the bedding.
The four master bedrooms are all equipped with high hotel quality Queen size double beds with mattress toppers, Garnier-Thiebaut cotton satin bed linen, bedside tables, wardrobes, storage or chest of drawers. Two bedrooms also have a single bed of the same level of comfort.
An additional room is equipped with a classic futon for two people for a total of 12 people.
Note that all rooms are equipped with a powerful and silent column fan.

The three main bathrooms are equipped with shower, double sink, and hairdryer.
A teleworking area with desk, chair, and monitor to connect a laptop is installed in the passage room.
Note a child safety gate for the staircase upstairs.

The outdoor area is provided for many cars. An automatic gate allows remote opening by keypad, remote control or connected application.

A detailed booklet will be available on site and will explain all the functioning of the house, its practical attractions, activities and tourist points.

Access is also possible by train, either by Malesherbes station (RER), or at Avon Fontainebleau station.
Malesherbes has several supermarkets - Intermarché, Leclerc, Carrefour Market, Mr Bricolage, and other food shops (city centre 3 minutes by car, 1.3 km).

The native forest is classified as a Natura 2000 site of community importance and a special area of conservation.

The site is fully fenced, and therefore safe for children. It opens at the top, through a door to the flats and sandy moors typical of the Buthiers forest and leads to the GR1 and GR32 hiking circuits, the Chapelle des roches aux amis – Grotte loop from Buthiers etc..., mountain bike trail, as well as the massif des trois pignons.
The renowned climbing sites of Buthiers, topographic, of all levels, are above all quieter and less crowded than on the north of the forest of Fontainebleau, and are accessible 300 metres on foot from the property.


Some entertainment:

Climbers of all levels and for fun, a friendly route competition is offered in the property (photos, names and quotes are welcome), a book will be prepared for the next ones with its openings, even the most modest.

Also, the big game for the youngest and the oldest, is to discover in the strange rocks of the property, the monsters and creatures represented on these tormented rocks. There are many!

Similarly, if you are an amateur, leave your best bottles of wine (empty!) and comment on the label, they will make up a small tomb that will certainly make other visitors who love bottles dream.

The presence of the leisure island of Buthiers, 500 metres away on foot, offers an attractive range of activities for young and old: climbing club (indoor) and fun wall, surfing wave, large tree climbing course, spider net course, pony club, mini-golf, barefoot sensory course, treasure hunts, large swimming pool-beach surrounded by rocks and forest, water games, slides, hiking, orienteering, disc golf, astronomy.

Two restaurants are known for their quality and are within walking distance:
- L'auberge Canard, fresh products, very good home cooking, excellent value for money
- Les roches Gourmandes: Refined cuisine worked by a chef who has known the great houses, very well rated, higher and justified prices.

Beyond that, there is a Michelin star in Fontainebleau that we highly recommend: L'Axel.
In this beautiful city, many establishments will open their doors to you.


Tourist interests:

While remaining very close to Paris, the city of love and beauty, the Eden Roches is close to Fontainebleau and many sites of extremely varied tourist interest to suit everyone.

It is also the starting point for hiking, climbing, excursions to the castles of the Loire Valley (Orléans 70km away), and discovery of the region and the Gâtinais park.
