About this property

Beautiful 2 room carriage house for two persons (+ two in the living room)

Our lovable coach house used to be the bearing of a bakery. The rooms of our apartment are located on the first floor - in the former multi store is now the bedroom. It is decorated with partly antique furniture, a beautiful cabinet of the transitional period Art Nouveau, Bauhaus is here as well as Chippendale furniture. This room is surprisingly quiet, has windows facing the courtyard and through the brick walls a very pleasant indoor climate.

The living room, which also houses a small kitchenette is, does not offer the old timbered ceiling, two beds, which are placed diagonally and so also the possibility for a 4-person group.

You will find a TV, radio, fridge, kettle, a spacious table, again partly beautiful old, refurbished furniture and a beautiful view of the garden.

The bathroom has its place in the former journeyman room.

You have a private entrance and in spring and summer a beautiful breakfast in the garden.

Pets are welcome, but should accept cats.

Our guest apartment is ideal for visitors, because you are both an 8-minute walk to express bus, which takes them directly to the trade fair in about 10 minutes. (X 34 and M49 - about 10 minutes to the fair another 15 minutes to Zoo Station)
Even otherwise the connection to the public transport is very good.
10 minutes by bus or 15 minutes on foot to the station Spandau. And from there it goes very fast in all possible directions - ICE, train, tram, subway and many buses.
Also for Potsdam-trips the location is perfect - the bus 638 Spandau-Potsdam stop is about 200m away.
You will also find plenty of shopping within walking distance.

The price for the accommodation refers to 2 persons. For other persons we charge 15,00 € per person and night.

Lovely homey place

Great outside-city location with buses nearby. Safe neighborhood (police station doors down). The place was so comfy and Kristine and Thorsten are so welcoming. Lovely and convenient (was here to run marathon).

Charming place close to Kladow/Gatow/Spandau

Feeling like home. Huge grocery store with good products around the corner. Busses close by for fun trips to Spandau Altstadt and Zitadelle, Kladow and the Wannsee Ferry. Nice welcoming, uncomplicated hosts. We will try to stay there again.

Beautiful property and lovely hosts

The property is absolutely amazing and makes it feel like you are truly living in the area. We had an amazing time exploring the city and this home is just what you need to relax after a day of exploration. It's a 5 minute bus ride from Spandau train station and there is a large supermarket nearby. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area. Thank you both for letting us stay! Great hosts, lovely place

The hosts are lovely people, helpful. I had my daughter stay with them and could feel she felt safe there just by having them neaeby. Very flexible and generously pet friendly. Some better isolation though of some of the windows could help: my daughter was sick during her stay, so in spite of the good central heating it was a struggle to stay warm. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever. Lovely hosts

Sehr gemütlich for 1, 2 or 3.

If you like to feel at home, and prefer charming character to modern sterility in your environment, this may be a good place for you. The personal/antique style decor made me feel like I was at a family vacation home. I was comfortable and happy. The hosts were helpful when needed. This apartment is upstairs and is as advertised. One bedroom with a large comfortable bed area. The other two single beds are part of the couch area in the kitchen. There is a comfortable sized bathroom. There is no air conditioning but a fan was provided. We closed windows during the day and opened them when we got home in the evening. (We were here in mid June 2019 in the middle of a heat wave.) The supermarket Kaufland is a 5-10 minute stroll around the corner. Italian Restaurant La Cena is also a quick walk. Spandau is in the far west part of Berlin. It takes at least 30-45 minutes to get to Berlin Zoo stop (South west Tiergarten) from Spandau Train Station. The train station is right next to a pretty good mall (Spandau Arcaden) and many food options. Thank you.

Kristine und Thorsten sind sehr freundliche Menschen. Wir haben uns mit unserer Hündin in der Remise sehr wohl gefühlt. Die FeWo ist sehr ruhig, auch wenn es auf der Straße brummt. Die Wohnung sticht durch viele persönliche Attribute aus dem Einerlei der sterilen "Schöner-Wohnen-Apartments" positiv hervor. Das mag vielleicht nicht jeder, für mich war es toll. Was für mich - als alter Mensch - etwas problematisch war, ist die Treppe zur FeWo, die oben kein Podest hat. Im täglichen Leben kein Problem, bei der An- und Abreise mit Gepäckstücken in der Hand schon. Das läßt sich wohl konstruktiv nur mit viel Aufwand lösen... Ansonsten eine klare Empfehlung für Individualisten.

Die Wohnung ist zwar mit älteren Möbel bestückt, aber gemütlich. Im Innenhof konnte man sich gut erholen und war auch ruhig und begrünt. Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bushaltestelle ist in der Nähe und ein Lebensmittelcenter (Kaufland)

Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft, liebevoll renoviert und mit ausgewählten vintage Möbeln eingerichtet.Der Platz ist für zwei Erwachsene, mit 1- 2 Kindern völlig ausreichend. Die kleine offene Küche gab alles notwendige her, was man so fürs gemeinsame Essen brauchte. Der Kontakt vor Ort ist herzlich. Von uns eine klare Weiterempfehlung.
