Our family group of 13 adults and 10 children enjoyed the 360 degree mountain scenery and wildlife, several hikes, the hot tub, the spacious gathering area,
We had a wonderful time at Alpine Lodge. The location is spectacular and the accommodations were perfect for a large group. Lots of beds and bedrooms. HUGE bunk room with 13 beds. Super close to hiking trails.
Property was amazing with fantastic location. Within walking distance to Brighton Ski Resort, Silver Lake, Nordic skiing & snowshoeing. Robin was a wonderful host and made things simple and easy.
Yes. The home was beautiful with a Christmas tree and beautiful garland on the fireplace and stairs. It was well-stocked with all the kitchen equipment we needed to serve Thanksgiving dinner to our large extended family. The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough for our family. The playroom was a great addition. It's in a beautiful setting nestled in the middle of a forest. There was very little snow but we enjoyed hiking on the trails. We loved the hot tub and the decking in the front and back of the home.

The Alpine Lodge was absolutely incredible. We stayed there with our best friends and there was plenty of space to all have meals together inside the house or out on the back deck. We loved the hot tub & the outdoor area! The accessibility to Brighton was amazing. Highly recommend!
This wonderfully comfortable house accommodated our large family of adults and kids of all ages. Owner responsive and welcoming. Remote feel yet easy access to airport. Silver lake provides a way to enjoy wildlife at your leisure. Lovely stay for all.
We had a great experience here for our family reunion. We had grandparents all the way down to toddlers and they all enjoyed the property. The space in the cabin was roomier than expected and fit all 7 couples well. We used the horshoe pit, outdoor fireplace, piano, hot tub, ping pong table, games, washer and dryer. It was a great experience in a beautiful location. We saw moose walking through the yard and hiked up to several of the lakes. We all agreed that this would be a great place to visit again.
Our family had a fantastic time at Alpine Lodge. It felt so homey and had everything we needed. The space was amazing for cooking, hanging out by the fire and playing cards and other games. It is a short walk to the ski lifts or the bus picks up right by the house. The host was very responsive to questions and requests. Highly recommend.
The Alpine Lodge is well named, truly felt like being in our personal lodge. It’s so spacious with plenty of seating in the oversized family room that opens to a large well equipped kitchen. The decor and dishware are so fun and perfect for this house. The location was great for walking to the Milly lift or using the Brighton resort shuttle.
Robin is a super host, so responsive and helpful.
The only downside to this property is that you can’t stay forever!
We stay up in the mountains with a group of friends annually and have done so for almost 10 years. This cabin was the perfect fit for a friends and family get away. There were 5 adult couples, with 5 kids and we all felt comfortable in the space of the cabin. The cabin was set with everything you need to be comfortable and the location was perfect. It's close enough for ski in and ski out, but also super easy for a quick shuttle loop to the resort. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We hope to come back again next year.
My group of 12 friends stayed at the lodge over MLK weekend and had an absolutely perfect stay! The location cannot be beat - we walked to the slopes every day. The amenities at the lodge were great for our lodge group. We loved the hot tub, cozy fireplace, and cooking in the well-supplied kitchen. Robin provided very quick responses for all of our questions. All of this at a reasonable cost will definitely have me returning in the future!
Wonderful! Perfect place for our annual family reunion
Love love love! Plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved the bunk room, toy loft, and exploring the woods outside. The beds were great and everything felt clean. It's secluded enough to feel like you have privacy in the woods but it's within close walking distance of Silver Lake trail and a little store. Plenty of parking, and had everything we needed. Robin was also wonderful at communication and very kind and welcoming. Would love to come back any time of the year!
Well-designed, well-equipped home in excellent location.
Our group repeatedly commented on how well-designed this house is for large groups. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas are all well-suited for groups. For example, the kitchen has three crockpots, two griddles, three blenders, and a huge quantity of plates, bowls, and mugs. The wood stove is cozy and warm. The bathrooms and sinks are plentiful. Lastly, the steam shower was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely book this house again.
We absolutely loved our stay at this home. It exceeded our expectations in every way! The kids room was awesome for our 5 teens/tweens to have their own space away from the adults. The beds were very comfortable after long days of hitting the slopes. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook for our group. We were hammered with snow which made for amazing ski conditions and we were impressed by the prompt snow removal on the property. This home is larger and more well appointed than the pictures show - one of our favorite homes for a ski trip with friends and family!
This is the nicest house I have ever stayed in for a ski vacation. It has everything one could hope for in a ski house, including a fully supplied kitchen with pretty much all the tools for cooking complete meals, comfortable beds, a clean, spacious hot tub, a TV with a full range of channels, a clean gas grill, lots of extra pillows and blankets. spacious shared rooms for good times with friends, a huge fire place, and of course, you can walk to the lifts at Brighton. Show up with food for your stay. You won't need anything else. Really a lovely place.
Property beat expectations.
Extremely close to Resort.
Property came with everything imaginable. Toys for kids. Board games, puzzles, jacuzzi, kitchen stocked with essentials, plenty of toiletries, towels, bed sheets and linens. Property manager was extremely helpful and communicated promptly. Brighton resort is walking distance, and Solitude is a quick shuttle away. Small market and restaurant conveniently located as well.

Come again and feel free to contact me directly to reduce fees.
Beautiful cabin in an ideal location, right next to the start of the Silver Lake trail. Ample living space, wonderful storage for our "stuff," great bedrooms and beautiful large outdoor decks. Our 12 grandkids especially loved the bunk room, where they got to have a giant cousin sleepover! We saw moose across the street every day, and several species of birds and a deer from the back deck. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Robin promptly answered a couple of questions we had. We had a fantastic experience.
This was the perfect house for our family of 18 (from 16 YO to 87 YO). We had beginning skiers and boarders, advanced skiers and boarders, and folks that didn’t do any snow sports - ad there was plenty for all of us to do. The ski shuttle picks up right out front so people can run home for lunch and people can all be on their own schedule.
The kitchen setup is great, the living room is so comfortable, and the bedrooms were great. I know the bathrooms look like there aren't going to be enough, but the setup is ingenious and it worked out great.
Robin communicated well and was very accommodating!

About the host
Hosted by Alpine Lodge in Brighton Utah
My Greatgrandfather bought this property for his wife in 1890 and built the first cottage for a family summer retreat. We built our beautiful Lodge with rocks and trees right on the this property in 2009. It is so peaceful here in Brighton, and I am proud to continue the Brighton legacy of our family with the Alpine Lodge. Sharing this small part of Brighton so all kids young and old can make the best childhood memories ever.
Why they chose this property
World Class Skiing and winter sports, cool summers, great hiking and the simple beauty of the High Mountains bring us to Brighton, Utah. Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and downhill skiing along with snowboarding are here and in the summer we ride our mountain bikes, hike and watch the abundant wildlife. Brighton ski resort, Solitude Nordic center and Solitude Ski resort are all next door. Snowbird and Alta are just 30 minutes away.
What makes this property unique
Moose live nearby and we see them often. The lodge sits on a private tree covered mountain forest bordered by a stream next to a meadow that leads to the Silver Lake. Walk on the boardwalk around Silver lake with great access for strollers and wheelchairs and fish or row your boat in this small natural glacial lake . The beautiful stone fireplace warms you as you light a fire and cozy up together on a leather sofas. This is a one of a kind place with great skiing for all ages and our lodge is especially wonderful for families. Alpine Lodge is custom designed to sleep and accommodate a family.
