Facing the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, and filled with tropical breezes from every room you will have no trouble relaxing and enjoying your time at Casa Loca. 360 degrees of breathtaking views surround this expansive house. Wake up to the sunrise over the mountains as you watch a hummingbird find his breakfast from the tropical and extensive landscaping. By mid day you may want to take a dip in the large ocean front pool or just relax in a hammock with a good book. With three floors, a large covered first floor outdoor pool area, a second floor wraparound porch and a third story ocean look out you can always find a perfect spot to enjoy the beauty that surrounds Casa Loca. Walk a short distance in our gated community to Playa Negra, Sandy Beach, and more for surfing, beach combing, dining, sunset drinks, and rejuvenating ocean views. Casa Loca also features a 24 hour private guard service that is shared with 9 other homes in the same community.

HOME INTERIOR LAYOUT: Ocean Front Casa Loca is a three story, 5 bedroom/ 4 bathroom private home on large lot with no immediate neighbors. BEDROOMS: Two master suites. Master suite #1 has a king bed with a private spa like bathroom. Master suite #2 has a queen bed with a luxurious bathroom. Both take up the entire third floor. On the second level you will find an large open floor plan facing the ocean this area includes the kitchen, dining and living areas. The spacious KITCHEN offers granite counter tops, and modern appliances, a microwave and all the pots and utensils needed for cooking and serving. You’ll find a beautiful large dining room table that can seat large or small groups. Off this area you will find a TV room, which has two couches and a twin bed with a full separate bathroom. There is also an office and a laundry area with a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor. The first floor features the main entrance to the house and access to the pool. There are 3 bedrooms, the first has a queen bed, the second has a queen bed, and the third has two single beds. A beautiful bathroom suite is shared with these first floor bedrooms.

OUTSIDE enjoy the beautiful private POOL and look out on to the Pacific Ocean. The pool at Casa Loca was designed for family fun and is long enough for lap swimming. Casa Loca has private parking, a BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating.

If a selection of uncrowded beaches, wild-life, a laid-back atmosphere, no high rise buildings, no franchises, multiple surfing breaks and tranquility are on your vacation agenda. Then the beach town of Playa Negra is a great place to kick back and enjoy your much needed time off. In Playa Negra you can capture the way Costa Rica used to be. If you want to visit a tourist town, it’s only half an hour drive to Tamarindo for shopping, Subway, the US style grocery store the 'AutoMercado' and shop after shop of souvenirs.

BEACHES: Enjoy a small beach directly in front of the house, this beach is mainly rock with many tide pools to explore. Through the gated ocean-front community, stroll 5 minutes on palm and hibiscus lined roads to the Playa Negra Reef Break, Sandy White Swimming Beach and Open-Air Restaurant and bar. It is a short 5 Minute Drive to Playa Avellanas North (white sand, reef/ sand surfing, restaurant), and 15 minutes drive to Playa Junquillal South (black sand, beach break surfing). We will be glad to point you to other beach options in the area.

LOCATION: This home is just under 2 hours from the Liberia Airport and 4 hours to the San Jose Airport. It is just 20 minutes to a great Zip-Line tour, or take a sunset horse-back tours leaving directly from Casa Loca. 50 minutes away from a covered river boat ride full of wildlife. 20 Minutes to Hacienda Pinella Beach Club and Spa, 35 minutes to Tamarindo for shopping, under 3 hours to Rincon De La Viejo Park (canopy tour, river tubing, waterfalls, horse back rides & hot spring mud baths).

IN TOWN ACTIVITIES: Walk down to the beach for yoga at the Hotel Playa Negra, SUP paddle-board lessons and yoga, bike tours, surfboard, snorkel rentals, massage, 2 surf shops, ding repair, 2 tiny art galleries (check out Coopwood's amazing surf art at Cafe La Ventana), custom swimwear and dresses at 2 location, and a small natural day spa offering pedicures and manicures.
