Surf * Kite * Fish * Swim * Relax Destiladeras on the East Cape of the Baja. Beach front home with pool and right & left point breaks at your door in a private gated community. Located between 15 miles from down town San Jose del Cabo. Fly to Cabo and surf that afternoon. 100 feet from the high tide line. The white sand beach with great swimming, fishing, kiting, surfing access makes it the perfect getaway for family and water sports enthusiasts.

This home built in 2009 invites you to relax with unobstructed views of the Sea Of Cortez. Watch whales migrate or fish with a local. The famous Gourdo Banks is just a mile away. Year round wind sports, surfing and fishing The break in front is gentle and great for beginners. Better surfers can paddle out to the line up and ride waves all day without a crowd. Destiladeras has one of the few Cabo beaches that's ideal for swimming, and if you just want to get away from it all you won't find a quieter place.

There are 4 separate buildings in this complex. The main house sits on top of the beach garage with the kitchen, living room and extensive patio area and pool with hot tub/spa. The dinning area is outside, covered and overlooks the Sea of Cortez. The kitchen has granite counter tops with bar seats that sit 4. Each room (casita) is a separate building for the ultimate in privacy, with a 180 degree view of the water from your king bed, indoor and outdoor showers and private bathrooms. Extra sleeping in double beds on the roof under a pergola and in the main house in oversized built-in couches. The 4th building is the upper garage with washer/dryer, solar power and parking for your car.

The perfect getaway for beach or surf lovers

If you are looking for a pristine beach for peace and quite or a surf break with no crowd this is your perfect getaway. Beautiful, comfy home. Not for someone seeking a cocktail waiter at the resort pool.

Great, off the beaten path place

Secluded beach house on beautiful beach, one of only three houses directly on the beach. You can walk for miles either direction on the beach and see no one to at most a handful of people. There are horses, donkeys, and dogs roaming at times. The house and grounds were amazingly clean. It's on a sand road several miles after the paved road ends so I would suggest an SUV type car rental, especially of you want to explore further or go always to Cabo Pulmo. Due to the location, the house runs on solar power and a diesel generator, and the Internet connection is via Satellite, and fresh water is in a tank. The owner is super-responsive to questions both before and during the stay. We enjoyed our visit - snorkeling close to the beach had interesting fish, and we caught some waves with boogie boards.

Endless, quiet beaches with stunning views.

My wife and I visited this property on a last minute whim. We wanted to get away and be at peace. After flying into Cabo we loaded up groceries at the Mega Market in San Jose and drove out through Puerto Los Cabos to Kim's remote property, not really knowing what to expect. This property is off the beaten path, set on a pristine cove. Every morning we had coffee on the top patio/deck and witnessed the most beautiful sun rises. We would then walk for miles on the beach, most often seeing no one. During out stay (one week) we met a few locals, some ex-pats and some Mexican nationals, all very nice, kind and helpful. An isolated but close community. This is a remote location so take what you need and hunker down. The property itself is pleasing and well cared for. It is the view, the beach, the solitude, the sea, the peace - this is what we wanted and thankfully what we received.

Secluded setting

The house is amazing ,it has everything you could possibly want to enjoy a quiet ,peaceful vacation . The beach is a semi - private setting the surf break is outstanding what more could you want from a vacation. The house was spotless when showed up you could tell the owner takes pride in house ,there was plenty of linen's and towels , the kitchen is fully stocked with any utensil needed to make a meal. The ability to sleep under the stars is phenomal the views ,the sound of the ocean and most important no noise from unruly neighbors . If your looking for the ultimate vacation spot get in touch with the owner she was awesome ,we told her what we were looking for and what we wanted to do and she took care of everything . Looking forward to renting the property again the best vacation ever.

One of the Best Last Places

If you like quiet; if you like incredible surf; if you like unbelievable private spaces and a long, long, long beach to walk: this is the spot. We had a blast. The house was perfect for our 6 vacationers (including kids); the sunsets were epic, the sunrises extraordinary and the spaces (beds and beautiful casitas) ideal for our gang of fishing, surfing, swimming families. This is a unique place completely away from the real world. I hope it will last there forever- We Will Be Back next year!

I built this house in 2008 because I love this area. After many years of camping it's nice to have the luxuries of a home on the beach. I snow ski professionally and live a hectic winter life. This is where I go to get away and decompress.

Why they chose this property

The perfect location to surf, fish, kite and relax. It's 100 feet from the high tide line and has a beautiful right point break right out front. Because of the shape of the bay it has one of the best swimming beaches in all of the east cape and perfect for young kids to play in gentile waves on the beach. There is a shipwreck right out front for fantastic snorkeling and tons of fish right off the beach.

What makes this property unique

Very few people, uncrowded surf break, gated community, long quiet days, fantastic fishing, turtles nesting, cows on the beach, local fisherman, nice neighbors, warm water, excellent snorkeling right out front. You don't need to go anywhere to get it all. The surf is a long slow right point break. Ideal for long boarders, SUP and people learning to surf. Waves range from 2 to 10 feet. Deep sandy bottom. Other more dynamic breaks are very close by. 9 Palms and Shipwrecks are both within a few miles.
