Nestled in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest and just a stone’s throw from iconic climbing spots and the recreational centre, La Pierre Blanche is a charming cottage for four people featuring a private garden with breathtaking views of the natural surroundings. The house features a spacious open-concept living room and kitchen overlooking the greenery, as well as a lovely bedroom. A queen-size bed ensures your utmost comfort. Nestled in the heart of the French Gâtinais Regional Nature Park, La Pierre Blanche has been completely renovated to blend authenticity with modernity. Upon arriving in the village of Auxy, in the town of Buthiers, two parking spaces are reserved for you in the property’s car park. Here, you’ll discover the vast expanse of greenery that stretches out before you and the forest at the foot of the property. You’ll reach your home via a few steps; the house itself is then all on one level. Upon entering, you’ll be charmed by its large open-concept living room and kitchen, which opens onto the private terrace and garden—a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meals. The spacious layout creates a very pleasant and bright living area that combines a living room, dining area centred around a fully equipped kitchen featuring a refrigerator, a 3-burner induction cooktop, a conventional oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and essential small appliances such as a coffee maker, toaster, and kettle—not to mention, of course, the dishes and kitchen utensils you’ll need to turn your meals into delightful culinary experiences. The dining area seats four around a bistro-style dining nook. In the living room, you’ll find a sleeper sofa with a comfortable 140-sized bed, as well as a flat-screen TV. The sleeping area consists of a lovely private bedroom with a window overlooking the outdoors. The bedroom is furnished with a very comfortable queen-size bed and ample storage. There is a bathroom with a spacious shower and a single sink. The toilet is separate. And for extended stays, a washing machine is available for your use in an utility room adjacent to your home. Special care has been taken to ensure the quality of the bedding, linens, and cleaning supplies, all of which meet hotel standards for absolute comfort. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi. An outdoor outlet is available for charging your electric vehicle (see rules). You’ll have access to all the amenities in the house. Your entrance is private and is through the back door of the house. The property is divided into two houses. Upon your arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome from La Conciergerie de Nadège :) Nadège and her team have taken care to prepare your accommodation “hotel-style” and in accordance with sustainable practices. They’ll be available throughout your stay should you need anything and can recommend great places to visit. Contact information for La Conciergerie de Nadège will be available in your accommodation. You can use Airbnb messaging, text messages, and the phone in case of an emergency. La Conciergerie de Nadège is located at 21 Avenue de Ganay in Milly-la-Forêt. Less than a 15-minute walk away, you can explore the famous Buthiers recreation area or join the GR1 hiking trail, which winds through the renowned Trois Pignons Forest. The town of Buthiers is an iconic destination home to numerous rock-climbing spots. Access to the A6 highway, just 15 minutes away, will take you to Paris in 50 minutes or to EuroDisney in just over an hour for an unforgettable day! Buthiers is accessible by road via Exit 14 of the A6. The nearest RER stations are Malesherbes (with a small car park, 13 km away) or Fontainebleau-Avon (24 km away). The Trois Pignons Forest is a 15-minute drive away: Starting from Buthiers, you’ll head to the Forêt des 3 Pignons, driving along beautiful forest roads amid rocky outcrops and passing through charming villages on your way to Noisy-sur-Ecole. Please let us know your arrival time as soon as possible and let us know if you’re running late on the day of your arrival. This helps us welcome you in the best possible way. Before your arrival, we’ll send you your welcome booklet, which is full of useful information about your accommodation and great local recommendations :) The inventory of the property is included in the welcome booklet. You’ll have 24 hours to report any missing items or issues. You can request housekeeping services and a change of bed and bath linens during your stay. The cost will be your responsibility.
