About this property

Robins Nest—10 min to AVL and Biltmore—RAD—-fireplace—hot tub—cont breakfast

Robins Nest is in a great location in the countryside yet only 10 minutes from downtown Asheville, the River Arts District, Biltmore Estate, West Asheville, UNCA, N C Arboretum, shopping, breweries, hiking, rafting, and biking.

Suitable for two adults, Robins Nest is spacious yet cozy. It has a bedroom with a fireplace, full bathroom with shower, and a full kitchen.

You have your own parking space with garden stair steps leading to this charming apartment.

Days are blocked between reservations. The apartment is meticulously cleaned between guests.

This spacious apartment is furnished in English cottage and includes many amenities to make you feel comfortable and at home. You will enjoy the peace and quiet yet you have fast wi-fi, best-seller books, streaming tv services.

Tucked behind and shaded by the hot tub deck, Robins Nest stays cool in even in the warmest part of summer. The charming freestanding fireplace keeps it warm and cozy in winter.

It is the perfect place to relax or enjoy so many outdoor activities. You are welcome to enjoy the rocking chairs on the upper deck at the hot tub as well as the gas table fire pit on your patio.

This clean and cozy apartment is an open floor plan but with separate and distinct areas.

This space is furnished with a queen bed, luxurious linens, two nightstands and lamps, artwork, rocking chair and footstool, wingback chair, large smart tv, and a country dresser with drawers for clothes. There are two luggage racks and also a closet for hanging clothes. An iron and ironing board are provided.

The white-tiled sparkling kitchen is complete with a full refrigerator, stove, microwave, and cooktop. Note there isn’t a dishwasher. Kitchen cabinets hold ironstone dishes, glassware, pots and pans, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, ice bucket, and everything you need should you wish to prepare meals.

Some small grocery essentials for cooking, dishwashing supplies and linens are provided.

Enjoy dining at the comfortable kitchen table already set. A grilled dinner after a relaxing soak in the hot tub is perfect.

The full bathroom is private and off of the living area. It has a shower, sink, mirror, and commode. Fluffy towels, comfy robes, shampoo/soap /conditioner, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board are provided.

Soak in the tree top hot tub while enjoying the starry night sky. It’s located on an upper deck outside of the apartment and has an amazing view. The outside sitting area gives you the sense of your own private courtyard. Perhaps you will hear the musical notes of a guitar or banjo in the distance. My neighbor is a musician and practices on his front porch across the woods.

We live beside a beautiful 18 hole private disc golf course. One is beginner friendly 4000 ft course and the other championship level 7700 ft. Mapped on UDisc. You are welcome to play for a greens fee.

The hot tub may also be used by the two guests staying in Bluebirds Nest. For privacy, a sign is provided so that you can indicate that it is occupied. We do our best to give you all the privacy one would want. You can play your music and turn on patio string lights or soak in the dark watching the stars. Flashlights and plastic drinking glasses are provided.

Allegiant Airlines has many inexpensive direct flights into Asheville. Some are New York, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, and Orlando.

People from all backgrounds are welcome in Robins Nest.

We have a pumping system that pumps wastewater up to the septic lines in the front yard. You will hear it when it empties.

You will hear our footsteps above but we are in the front of the house most of the time. A Nest security camera is located outside and monitors only the entrance.

Bluebirds Nest, our other apartment, accommodates two guests. You might want to keep that in mind if you plan to travel with another couple or if Robins Nest is booked.

My husband and I occupy the main level and are available for anything needed or emergencies.

Lovely apartment
Sunny, lower level apartment with spacious windows and beautiful natural scenery to enjoy. Very clean, all amenities needed were available. Would highly recommend. The property owner is very approachable and nice to work with. The hot tub is wonderful, enjoy the finches, woodpeckers and more, from there. Lovely time.

Wonderful Accommodations!
This little hideaway is an Asheville Gem! I could not have asked for a more peaceful stay. The location was quiet, secluded but easy to get to and within easy drive of all Ashevillehas to offer. The hostess left ham & cheese sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee pods for the Kureg along with cream and sugar. The table was even set with fresh cut flowers. The hottub was just perfect for a cold evening. I will definitely consider this location on my next trip to Asheville.

One of the nicest places I've ever stayed.
Look no further when booking an Asheville trip! Bet's place was EXACTLY as described. Clean, cozy, and convenient to all the places in Asheville without the hustle and bustle. Far enough away from town to look up in the sky at night and see stars not street lights, but just a short drive to anywhere. We were welcomed with pure Southern Hospitality and enjoyed her special touches of snacks, fruit, and FRESH flowers. We would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed the daily visits of wildlife with our morning Coffee, like the White Squirrel and the wild Turkeys. Even the next door neighbor playing his "music" at night was a pleasant surprise when we arrived home from a day of Brewery Hopping. My only regret was not hanging out at the property a little more. We only used the hot tub one evening, but it was heavenly. Bet is friendly, attentive, and has a 3 ring binder made up of lots of things pertaining to the area. We took it everywhere with us! Thank you for a relaxing stay. We look forward to a return to Asheville.

Wonderful!
My fiancé and I came out to Asheville for the weekend to see the colors on the leaves and enjoy some good hiking. Our host was amazing. She even put fresh fruit in the fridge for us to enjoy 😊 it made for a great breakfast before hitting the trail later that morning. We had an amazing weekend and would love to come back someday.

My husband and I are natives of Asheville. We love this vibrant city and the beautiful mountains of WNC and love sharing our knowledge and experiences with you.

I am an artist/educator with a home studio. My paintings are in a gallery in the River Arts District at 310 ART where I have taught workshops. I would be glad to recommend sites and galleries to see while visiting Asheville.

I am a retired teacher from Buncombe County Schools. National Board Certified, I taught digital imaging, website development, and computer applications.

My interest in digital imaging led me into photography with the beauty of these WNC mountains and the people and their culture being my favorite subjects.

I come from a railroading family and Southern Railway/Norfolk Southern has been good to us. The railroad's history is tied to the River Arts District and I felt as if I was "coming home" when I became an exhibiting artist at 310 ART at Riverview Station.

My husband comes from a Coca-Cola family who pioneered Coke in the western most counties including Bryson City. His aunt married into the Granville Calhoun family and the old home place is still standing up Hazel Creek in the Great Smokies National Park.

I enjoy hiking and fishing but my waterskiing days are over! We especially like to spend long weekends at our houseboat on Fontana Lake with our family.

We have two wonderful daughters, son-in-laws, and three red-headed grandchildren!

We will be glad to share our knowledge of this area with you and make any recommendations you may be interested in.

Our style of hosting is very simple. We are here if you need us and want to provide you with the best accommodations possible. We want you to feel at home.

We invite you to stay with us and hope to see you soon.

Why they chose this property

I know that many of you are concerned about your travel safety and health. Please know that at this time, we are blocking at least one day between bookings so the apartment can be aired out and sanitized.

I have always been meticulous about cleaning and more so now. All sheets and bed linens are washed in hot water, dried on hot, and ironed. All towels and wash clothes are washed in hot water and dried on hot. All surfaces that are frequently touched, light/lamp switches, remote controls, doorknobs, etc. are sanitized. The bathroom is cleaned and sanitized. Finally, I have placed an air purifier/UV light in the apartment.

I prepare a delicious and nutritious breakfast allowing you to stay in late.

No-contact entry with a key provided.

Relax in outside areas with ample sunshine and fresh air.

What makes this property unique

Robins Nest has a "sister" apartment--Bluebirds Nest. Should you need accommodations for another adult couple traveling with you, it will accommodate 1-2 guests, has full kitchen, large bathroom, bedroom/living room, a sunroom with countryside views, hot tub access, outside sunny patio, and outside covered porch. The apartment doors can be opened to one another and are separated by a hall. VRBO #1266809
