About this property
Hot Tub l Game Room l Creek & Waterfall
THE PLACE
Unique and cozy tiny home/cabin on the banks of the Bent Creek at Blueberry Falls Farm, a u-pick blueberry farm in Mentone, AL. Soak in the hot tub or enjoy a mid-day nap on the daybed within the screened-in porch. A short walk away there is an overlook bridge and roof top deck to enjoy views of the waterfall and pond as well as a game room below with foosball, crafts, and playstation.
The Crooked Tree Cabin is minutes from downtown Mentone, Desoto Falls, and Desoto State Park.
THE SPACE
Relax in a cozy-modern tiny home cabin by the creek. The Crooked Tree Cabin Tiny Home has a queen bed on the main floor, two twin size bunk beds, and two twin beds in the loft (the loft is not a walkable space, about 4ft high). There is a covered screened in porch with a private hot tub and day bed, uncovered porch with a charcoal grill, and serene wooded and creek views. A wood burning fire pit is located below the front porch by the creek. Hammocks and outdoor games are also available for your enjoyment.
A short walk away there is a community space with an overlook bridge and roof top deck to enjoy views of the waterfall, Blueberry Falls, and pond as well as a game room, The Creek House Lounge, below with foosball, crafts, and playstation. A bathhouse with two showers and two bathrooms is also available for guest use during your stay.
During blueberry season (Late June to Early or Mid-August), guest are welcome to pick blueberries to enjoy with breakfast or to take home. If you are booking in July, please be aware that we have our annual blueberry festival the second weekend of July and most weekends we will be open for our u-pick blueberry events.
DETAILS TO NOTE
*The hot tub is available for an additional $50. Please indicate if you would like to add this feature to your reservation so we can unlock before your arrival.
*You can bring your pets for an additional pet fee. They must be included in the reservation and we must be notified prior to your arrival.
*There are two other tiny homes on the property. They are both for rent as well.
*Blueberry Season is from mid-June to mid August. During this time, we will have the blueberry bushes open to the public for our U-pick season. The houses are separate from the bushes but please be aware of this if you are coming during blueberry season.
*During the Spring, Summer, and Fall I will be doing routine landscaping. This includes mowing, weed eating, and blowing around the houses.
*We are in the process of getting things developed and there will be signs of that when you arrive. We always try to block off days when there will be construction going on so it will not be taking place while you are there. I also work at the property myself most days. I bring our dog Maggie when I come to work. She is friendly but will bark at cars. I assure you though, she will not harm you in any way. If it ever is a problem, I am always glad to keep her inside with me.
