Older, more basic home, which has been updated in some areas (like laminate flooring). Kitchen and bathroom cabinets are still old, as are the windows. The Biarritz is located in a residential neighborhood without through-traffic. It is offered at a low rental rate.

Snakes and a few bugs but everything else was very nice

It was a nice house the only thing we had trouble With as there was a couple bugs.. and beds were pretty hard..There was a couple black snakes in the tree by the dock where we went fishing we only seen them the first days but that should be taken care of

Thank you, appreciate your feedback. Florida is located in the tropics and even with regular pest control it is impossible to keep bugs out of a house. They always find a way to come in, no matter whether it is a $500k house or a million Dollar mansion. Most important thing is to set up a regular pest service inside and outside. This is what we always do. And if problems still occur, and they do occur, we call the pest again for extra treatment to get rid of them ... for now. Again, it is just impossible to keep bugs out. I am sorry the mattresses were too hard. Unfortunately, this is also a problem where you cannot find a solution. A few years ago we had guests in a house complaining about old mattresses being way too soft. Well, the guests were the first sleeping on these brand new mattresses. ... it is always a matter of taste. Snake in trees: Florida is home to 46 species of native snakes, only six of which are venomous. The black snakes usually are not poison and they live all over the place in Florida . If they are in the house or in the pool area we get rid of them by ourselves or call the pest control. But if they live in the trees there is nothing we can do. Again, Florida is located in the tropics and there are bugs, snakes, and alligators.

Had a wonderful time!

The house was clean and was well stocked for all our needs. It was an older home but it good shape. Our bed was not very comfortable but we made it work. It may be a consideration of the owners to upgrade the beds in the future. The bikes did not have air in the tires so we weren't able to use them but we went for a walk in the neighborhood and walked up to a restaurant that was close. The location is great with all that we needed in close proximity. Our favorite area was outside by the pool and down by the canal. Our friends rented kayaks and they delivered them right to the house. We had good communication with the owner and management company. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again if we were in the area.
