About this property
Best Vacation Rental in the Heart of Juneau
This wonderful vacation home is perfectly situated to provide a glorious, 180 degree view of Gastineau Channel, easy walking distance to downtown, and ‘backyard’ access to a trail system that can take you to the Perseverance Trail and beyond. Solid hickory floors provide a welcome warmth and cozy feel as you watch the sunrise over the channel. Once you settle in for your stay, you might not want to go anywhere!

What makes this property unique
This was a historic miner’s home that was recently renovated by the Alaskan and Swiss owners over the course of two years. The exposed steel beam that supports the addition of the living and dining room is the beam from the original Juneau-Douglas bridge.
Solid hickory floors on the first level provide a very cozy feel to a house that is surrounded on two sides by windows. You won’t find a better view in all of Juneau!
