Our property is located inside the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort. it is part of a 500-acre resort community boarded by El Yunque National Forest, two amazing golf courses, and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Filled with amenities for all guests.

This is a condominium just steps from the beach with it’s 5 pools, 4 of these pools are available to you, 2 large pools, a kid pool and a hot tub, you are a 5 minute walk from the Wyndham hotel, Margaritaville, and all it’s restaurants. 2 air conditioning units, fans also available.The Master king bed has a brand new (top on the line ) tempurpedic mattress. You will never sleep better. If your are More than two people, well. In the large master you will find a brand new sofa bed(queen) with a gel mattress. Not comfortable enough? Place the available tempurpedic foam topper on it. Living room has a modular sofa ( sectional). 2 smart TV’s fully equipped with Cable Tv, Netflix, and other internet movie sources available. 250 megabytes wireless internet. Fully equipped kitchen, with utensils and appliances, brand new oven, refrigerator, and microwave. I suggest you have a car to visit the rainforest , luquillo beach and the many local restaurants just minutes away( by car)

Go all in at the 7,000-square-foot casino or direct your indulgences to several specialty shops also located in the Hotel.

You can practice your golf swing. In this amazing resort you can practice your game in one of two Championship 18- hole Golf Courses, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, the mountains of the El Yunque rainforest, and the Mameyes River.

The Ocean Course
The 18-hole Ocean Course, designed by legendary course architects Tom and George Fazio, lies between the mountains of El Yunque rain forest and the shimmering Atlantic. This 6,716-yard course winds among lakes and the natural contours of the land offering gorgeous and challenging play. Enjoy the magical moment of playing in ocean breezes with the sound of waves on our signature beachfront 16th hole.

The River Course
The 18-hole River Course, designed by PGA great Greg Norman, rolls alongside of the gentle Mameyes river. The natural terrain of the land inspired the placement of the holes, while preserving existing foliage, creating an immaculately lush, beautiful course with vistas of the mountains and sea. This spectacular course is ideal for all skill levels and features wide fairways, open greens, light rough, and shallow bunkers along its 6,945 yards.

If you like tennis better, you can practice your Tennis swing at the Rio Mar Resort Community Tennis Club, the Caribbean’s largest tennis Facility. Play tennis under tropical skies in one of the 11 Har-Tru® courts and two Laykold hard courts – four lit for evening play. Har-Tru® is known as the world's leader of clay tennis courts. Laykold® is the official surface of the Miami Open and has been since 1984.

You can also try your luck at the hotel’s casino or dine on delicious cuisine at the hotel’s on-site restaurants and bars, all within a 2-minute walk from the property. If you want to indulge in the local culinary experience, there are many restaurants within a 10-minute drive including the well-known Luquillo "Kioskos", where you can enjoy many of the local foods, sea food galore, including the famous "Mofongo Relleno".

The property is right across the road from the El Yunque National Forest. El Yunque is the only tropical rain forest in the national forest system. At nearly 29,000 acres, it is one of the smallest in size, yet one of the most biologically diverse of the national forests hosting hundreds of animal and plant species, some of which are found only here. There are great hiking trails to waterfalls, tropical plants, orchids, beautiful views and more as you walk or drive through this tropical paradise. Some trails remain closed for repairs after the impact of Hurricanes Irma and María. We are available to help you find information on the trails, recreation areas and services currently available.

The property’s location is perfect as you are a short drive away to other activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, Jet skiing, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, zip-lining, paintball, and the Fajardo bio-luminescent bay (one of five in the world). Also in nearby Route 66 Outlets, is Puerto Rico’s first K1 Speed in the Caribbean and is the first all-electric indoor go-karting center in the Island. The 40,000-sq. ft. facility is located within the chic and popular Outlet at Route 66 in the municipality of Canóvanas (10 minutes away from the property) and will feature the best karting to be found on the island, in addition to bowling, bumper cars and the latest racing simulators.

If you feel adventurous, you can take a day trip to Flamenco Beach in Culebra Island, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world according to Conde Nast's Traveler magazine or book a full-service sailing with one of the many Catamaran outfits out of nearby Fajardo. We can help with putting you in contact with tour guides that will help you plan your activity away from the resort. Or you can always reach out to the Hotel’s Concierge nearby, that we are sure will be more than happy to assist.

You are also a 30 – 45 minute drive away from Old San Juan and World-class Restaurants, Museums, Convention Center and Event Facilities via the new Road 66 Toll Road. Puerto Rico is famous for the Rum made on the island and you can't miss the tours of rum distilleries in San Juan. Go explore!
