Lovely stay - highly recommend!

Stayed a week at the condo with my family. Perfect bedroom setup for our two girls - 3 and 4 years old. Everything was as pictured and the check-in process upon arrival was seamless.

Great vacation condo

We truly enjoyed your condo. Great location, easy beach access, 2 swimming pools to choose from and the condo was clean and welcoming. Communication with property owner was always swift and friendly. I will stay here again!!!

Great place in a great location

We had a whole stay at this apartment. It was very clean and well maintained. It has an ideal location on Emerald Isle with privacy and access to fun activities if you wanted them. The pool was great and the place was just a few minutes walk to the beach.

Always a Blast!

We've stayed at Pier Point West many times and this was one of my favorite stays. We had three rentals, two through VRBO and really had everything we needed. The beach is great. the pools were both open, and they even converted the tennis court to 2 pickleball courts, which was fun. We played five days while we were there and spent nearly every day on the beach. Our group used the picnic tables for our dinners and were really able to relax and enjoy each other. Our unit was perfect, too.

A Stone's throw away

The condo was exactly as the online pictures! It was clean, bright and airy! Also, the area was very quiet. The beach access was good. And the beach was beautiful! The condo pool was clean! The condo was nicely decorated with a beachy theme. The only issue we had was the stovetop electric coils need to be fixed or replaced as they do not lay flat making it necessary to hold the pan/pot continually while cooking. The left front burner didn't work at all. I did notify the owner. But, unfortunately it wasn't fixed. Overall we had a great time!

Honest Review

Upon arrival I walked into the guest bathroom and noticed hair on the floor which I did not mention to the owner. I just brushed it off as it’s easy to miss a spot cleaning. -My husband then went to take a shower in the master bath and the water had a terrible smell like sewage. I contacted the owner and he said Emerald Isle water has a sulfur smell to it which we are used to as we regularly visit this area and is what the water in the guest bathroom smelled like. The water in the master bathroom was not that smell and the smell filled up the whole condo when we ran the shower. He did acknowledge that this was a known issue in the “winter months” and to run the water. -The next morning we went to use the master toilet and the whole thing was broken and looked like it had been for quite some time. I reached out to him again and told him I had no issue with a maintenance person stopping by that day to which he replied it was probably a minor issue but he didn’t think anyone would be able to come out today. The master bathroom was totally unusable. -Additionally, I think it would be very helpful if the bed sizes were listed as the “master” bedroom has a queen bed which is not specified in listing. The whole reason we booked is because we assumed it was a king size bed. We have a toddler who sleeps with us so my husband and I had to take turns sleeping on the twin bed in the spare bedroom. -Finally, I did not get photo of this but the guest shower could use some repairs as the paint is peeling near the shower faucet and the pressure is dull. It was disappointing being it was the only usable shower. Plus: great living room living space
