Nice location in beatiful normandie
We stayer for 1 week in november and had a great time. The gite is okay and staying in a traditional house makes it extra nice. The environment is perfect with very beautilful villages en sea shore. The sunset was unforgettable.
Fantastic little cottage in a wonderful and unspoilt location. Amazing coastline. Would recommend you come out of season as you get virtually the whole of Normandy to yourself.
Very well located: close to the sea, a bit secluded and yet the bakery still within walking distance. Cap La Hague itself has a great, varied coastline that is good for hiking and there are good restaurants.
The heating didn't work at the beginning of our stay and despite the rainy weather, Philippe came immediately to get everything working again.
Overall, we had a wonderful time in this very special place.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this accommodation with a stunning sea view. Everything met our expectations and left us fully satisfied. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. The house perfectly matched its description, boasting a lovingly and tastefully decorated interior. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place to others. It's also very dog-friendly, which is a big plus for pet owners.
Lovely cosy gite in a superb location, with pretty grounds, and on the coast. Stunning view toward the sea, best we've had. Very handy for a lot of beaches, places to visit and things to do. Easy access to east or west coast, and fairly simple to by-pass Cherbourg to travel anywhere. Attractions of Cherbourg on hand for visiting with ease. Peaceful, with beautiful scenery nearby, yet with a good choice of supermarkets, and restaurants. The path up to the gite was ok for us, but may pose a problem for some. We're certainly fitter after our daily exercise ! Definitely one of the best holidays we've had in France, out of many.

Holidays in the castle garden
We have lived one week in the fantastic summer cottage of the castle Dur-Ecu. It was so nice that we would have remained with pleasure still a next week. The castle arrangement with her old walls, funny pileworks and wonderful garden is a dream. The equipment of the summer cottage feels well, everything exists, is simple and moulder furnished. From the window you can see directly on the sea. What does one want more? The hosts have and conceive very friendly and have dismissed. Every day we have explored the closer surroundings. Besides, we have bumped into dreamlike sceneries. The worth seeing also lies nearby. One must be ready to spend some kilometres in the car. We have made day trips to Caen, Bayeux (the carpet of Bayeux), Mont St. Michel, Granville, Camenbert. A great week. We want to come again anyway! Thank you again to the hosts!

Vlakbij strand, mooi uitzicht.
Ligging was prachtig. Huisje was super klein.
