The Meadow Lodge property is very dated and needs a lot of TLC and maintenance. The garbage disposal was not working on the first day and a plumber was not able to fix it for 48 hours, limiting access to using the kitchen. The garage door only opened from inside the property and made a huge cracking noise every time the door was opened. The backyard advertises a 'fire pit' which of course would be off limits during summer d/t CO burning restrictions, but the fire pit is just a metal bowl surrounded by bricks that are crumbling and obscured by tall weeds and grass that appear to have not been mowed all summer. The yard was so overgrown that our dog could not even play or access the backyard. This was pretty unsightly when you looked at the manicured lawns on both sides of this property. The concrete patio has 2 gas grills randomly placed on the patio, plastic lawn chairs with a large hole in one seat and a hot tub with no information about use or maintenance. Several of the bi-fold doors (kitchen and master bedroom) are off the hinges and in need of repair. One of the mirrors in the master bathroom was off the wall and positioned on the sink while the toilet paper holder was also no longer secured to the wall. The small walk out deck off the master bedroom is minus chairs or furniture, but we noticed the wood which seems to be rotting, with nails protruding so were concerned that deck was unusable. The livingroom ceiling appears to have had a leak in the past….

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your stay. We are truly sorry to hear that the home did not meet your expectations and that you experienced several maintenance issues during your visit. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have limited kitchen access and concerns about the condition of the backyard and other areas of the home. Your observations about the fire pit, garage door, patio, and other maintenance concerns are very important, and we will be sure to pass this information along to our local team so they can address these issues promptly. We want every guest to enjoy a comfortable and safe stay, and your feedback helps us improve. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future. We hope to host you for another great stay soon.

COLD!! Maintenance lacking

We arrived at this house after a day of skiing to find that the heat didn't work. This was February, and it was around 40 F indoors and falling. In addition, the smoke detectors were chirping their annoying low-battery signal. After a call to Vacasa customer service, they did send a maintenance guy in about a half hour, but it took until 3-4 a.m. for the air to warm up. Fortunately, there were blankets to huddle under. All this seems like a lack of attention to important details. I wonder if pipes would have frozen if we hadn't been checking in? There was no garage opener provided, and customer service did not know the code for the outside garage door keypad, so coming and going involved walking around to the front door to open and close the garage. The sidewalk from the driveway to the door was not shoveled, so this was always a messy process. Customer service offered to reimburse our dinner out. On the plus side, its a nice, roomy house. Good kitchen. Clean. Well-located. Dining table is kind of rustic picnic table style; bench seating on one side was uncomfortable.

Hi, Evan! We're so glad you stayed with us and apologize you had to arrive to a cold home. It appears the heating system is going out, but we are in the process of getting it repaired. The garage door opener was located in the basket next to the provided home book. Please know we are doing our best to stay on top of the shoveling this winter. Thank you!

A home away from home

A home away from home because the kitchen, and the linens, and everything one would need for a weeklong stay is at your fingertips and easy to find. A really comfortable layout with a quiet back patio and a few blocks walk to whatever you need. Really a perfect getaway. Everything from the dishes to the rooms are beautifully appointed. can’t wait to come back with friends and family! And the walking paths right out side your door give you access to Frisco along quiet pathways away from the traffic. Really a wonderful stay. Thank you Matt and Anna!

Relaxation in Great Location

This home is in a quiet neighborhood yet close to everything-easy walk or bike ride to Frisco's Main Street, a park is just a few minute's walk, and groceries and a few restaurants are also just a few minute's walk away. It is attractively furnished and very comfortable, even for a long stay, with different spaces for working remotely and a well-stocked kitchen, so it is easy to cook when you decide to stay in. Can't wait to come back!

Mountain Comfort at Meadow Lodge

Rare find - dog-friendly and accessible to ski areas, great hiking, breweries, and the Frisco Whole Foods. Plenty of space for guests and a cozy common area attached to a great kitchen for dinners in. Best location for exploring multiple resorts in one stay.
