"Dancing barbecues" are held there every Friday, very convivial events that sometimes bring together hundreds of people. Pouzolles is 15 minutes from Pézenas, known for its historic centre, charming alleyways, and lively Saturday market. The Mediterranean beaches are just over half an hour from the house. The same goes for the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park, with its magnificent Gorges d'Héric and Gorges de Colombières – a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and those who enjoy activities such as canoeing, climbing, canyoning, or simply swimming in natural waters. Other points of interest include the Thau Lagoon, with its many waterfront restaurants; the port city of Sète, with its famous water jousting in the summer; Béziers Cathedral and its covered market – recently named the most beautiful market in France; the historic Ecusson district in Montpellier; Lake Salagou and its red earth; the Cirque de Mourèze and its unusual rock formations… You won't want to leave!
