We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Nissan! The house was beautifully decorated, everything was clean, and had all amenities listed and then some more. We had perfect weather and were able to go out on the lake, waterskiing and tubing. We had a fabulous getaway and the house and property were perfect.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin and made memories our family will treasure for years to come. The cabin was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the host was wonderful and made everything easy from start to finish. The location was perfect for our family, with plenty to do nearby.We enjoyed boating, tubing, badminton, great food, coffee, and Lonesome Pine. Especially playing Monopoly, watching movies, drinking coffee, and spending uninterrupted time together as a family.It truly felt like a place where we could slow down, reconnect, and enjoy each other. It gave us wonderful family memories we'll carry with us. We would absolutely love to come back, thank you Heather!!

We stayed here for our family vacation and had the main house and the guest house and it worked out perfect for our needs. We brought some of our own things from past experiences with other VRBO's but they were not needed as more than enough was provided. We were able to get in some fishing, water activities with our boat. We also used the kayaks and peddle boat that were provided. It was very convenient to have the boat launch 2 driveways away as the area to launch the kayaks was dried up due to the lack of rain. The area is fairly quiet and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. We had some excitement 2 or 3 nights with some late night visitors (black bear), they scared away easy though. Would highly recommend this property and working with Heather was so easy and she responded very quickly to any questions I had prior and during our visit.

This was a very nice property that was clean and updated. Bathrooms are wonderful if you have more adults. Bedrooms were lovely but pull out couch very uncomfortable - only negative that I would have. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again.

We are the Nissen family and together we own and manage Casa de Nissen. We are two sisters that own and manage the cabin rental alongside our husbands, young children and Father. We have spent our entire lives growing up at a cabin in this area and now have the opportunity to share that experience with others. Every part of your stay is an experience our family has curated and perfected for you over the years.

Why they chose this property

This cabin is not your average "cabin" experience in MN. Every inch of this home was remodeled anywhere between 1-8 years ago with custom and high end finishes. The layout was redesigned to create an experience for large or small families all year round. There are no shortage of bathrooms or storage amongst the custom designed cabin. The kitchen is what you expect in a high-end home. Custom concrete counters, stainless steel appliances and endless counter space.

The property's location on the hillside offers lake views that are breathtaking from any room inside the home. Given its hillside, the owners custom designed a concrete stairs with landing areas and bonfire pit to take advantage of the hillside and make for easy access to the lake.

What makes this property unique

The property is directly adjacent to the only Boat Access for the entire chain of lakes. Meaning if guests want to bring their own boat or bring a rental, the access is convenient. In the winter time, those that want to ice fish or snowmobile on the lake have great access from the boat landing as well.
