The house is beautiful, and very well stocked. The shower downstairs was a huge hit! Enjoyed every night by the firepit, fishing off the dock.. Our family of 11 had a perfect vacation here. The walk down to the water is a little steep, but great workout! Highly recommend
Excellent! A/C worked really well! Some bed mattresses could be a little newer/less firm but that may be personal preference. Very nice cabin. See other reviews about the bedroom setup. Would rent again, nice location on the Eagle River chain.
This was our second year in a row at this "fun" family perfect property. The home had plenty of room for our group of 8 adults and 5 children. The upper level has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and alot of room for family dining, game playing, puzzling, cartoon watching, relaxing, etc. Downstairs there is a washer/dryer, extra fridge and lots of room for people to sleep! We especially love what is outside...2 firepits, 2 docks with a shallow sandy area between for the kiddos to swim, kayak and fish. Boating on this chain of lakes is a blast with nearby drink stops, sand bars, and eagle spotting. So much fun to be had!!!!
This was a wonderful and clean home for our large family vacation. Communication with both the host and the property manager was great. The whole home was very well stocked...can't think of anything we didn't have. We had room for our whole gang to sleep comfortably. We had 3 boats and a jet ski and the pier had room for all to park and still room for all thr grandkids to fish. We loved the campfire pit. There was so much seating for eating, playing cards and doing crafts. Great time was had by all!!!

Thanks Bonnie,
Always so happy to hear guests enjoyed the property.
This rental experience was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The home is amazing! It’s everything the description says it is and more. It was extremely clean, roomy, cozy and inviting. We loved it as did our friends and family. We appreciated the excellent communication with the host as well. Would absolutely stay here again!

I really wanted to love this property but I think I came out as meh. My family agrees. The location is unbeatable! New dock and central access to the lake chain, really great. But the rest left a lot of room for improvement. I think this house glides by on location alone, with little to no attention to being a good host. The decor of the house is VERY northwoods meets taxidermy, meets grandma's antiques plus Christmas year round. It's cluttered and kind of creepy. Plus, hard to clean all the corners when you have antique oil lamps collecting years of bugs, and old rugs peeling off pieces because they've been stuck to the floor for so long. Other issues for me were the 1 ply toilet paper, flimsy paper towels, and no coffee. I think most AirBnbs and VRBOs at least supply coffee! When we first walked up to the house, there were plastic chairs and Adirondack chairs scattered around the property with no apparent use of the amazing deck spaces. And zero chairs on the dock. I spent time cleaning all the chairs (webs and dirt), and placed them all around nicely and more welcoming. The fire pit by the lake that's pictured in the listing was completely covered in branches, and when we removed the debris, there was a hornets nest in there and my husband got stung. The fishing shed by the waterfront is a cluttershack, scary and needs attention. We opened the door and promptly shut it.All in all, we had great times, loved the lake, didn't love the house.
Definitely plenty of gathering space for a large group and well equipped kitchen. There were not really 5 bedrooms though, just beds put everywhere downstairs. Also, would have appreciated a warning of the long, steep walk to the lake, also that we shared it with another house on the property.
The house was beautiful and very clean, kitchen was well stocked, plenty of linens. Paper products were provided and dishwasher soap etc. Lake area and pier were very well kept. Property Host was welcoming and accommodating. Our family of 8 Adults and 6 children under 9 years had a great time.
The house was beautiful and the owners were great to deal with. There were more steps to the lake than what we were initially lead to believe. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
This is a very nice place in a great location on the Eagle River chain. Very nice kitchen and great room. Large dock in very good condition with a sandy bottom swim area that the kids enjoyed. We rented a pontoon boat and had fun exploring the entire chain. Owner was very responsive and helpful in sending us a hair drier that we left at the house. My only suggestion would be to replace some of the mattresses and replace the worn-out chairs in the screened-in porch. The screened in porch is a nice feature as well. Great family vacation spot!
Amazing property and dealing with Guy was great. He went out of his way to help us, sent an email with lots of great information and then answered our questions for more personalized recommendations for our trip and to ensure the house was perfect - which it was. Beautiful property, great place to keep a boat and Guy made us feel like we knew our way around. We would give 10 stars and highly recommend.
Our family (7 adults /2 children) loved staying at this Eagle Lake home. A beautifully appointed & comfortable cabin, we enjoyed all the seating areas to accommodate many people. Kitchen was well equipped. The screened porch was a plus. Great lakefront. Lots of stairs to the lake & docks so a bit difffcult for older folks. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets & even saw the Northern Lights one night.
Great family oriented property. We loved the water area between the 2 docks for the kiddos to play and learn to kayak in. The house offered different areas so we could be doing alot of different things at once, whether it was napping, reading, puzzling, card playing or whatever. We saw many deer in the area and a few came almost right up to the children which completely thrilled them! We also really liked the fire pit near the house so we could enjoy a fire on a cool day without having to go down to the water. The lake is beautiful and connected to many other lakes with fun establishments to stop and enjoy, even a floating ice cream pontoon! As for fishing, even our 4 year old caught fish off the dock! The sunsets and the stars were also really incredible. We had a wonderful time and hope to return!
Good experience! The room upstairs and on the left made my daughter itch for several days. May want to check that bed! Otherwise, everything was fine! Thank you!

Thank you Michelle. We will check on bedding. Hope you can return.
House was great. Could have a little better equipped kitchen supplies. No hot pads no can opener no whisk no cheese grader. Also quite a lot of steps to the water which had no l path lighting at night. Great lower level which worked out perfectly for our teenage grandsons. All in all a very nice property.
We enjoyed our stay at the lake. Loved having a dock available for the week to keep our boat and the availability to the Lilly pad and water skis. Great location and beautiful sunsets. Steps down to water would be hard for the older generation. Screened porch was awesome and kitchen well stocked. Second fridge/freezer in lower level was huge too. Relaxed in mornings and nights with tons of wildlife as little friends right outside the door. Bunk beds were a tad squeaky when someone moves. Overall was a fantastic week and will hope to be back.
We just spent an amazing week on Eagle Lake! Our family thoroughly enjoyed your place! We have been visiting the Eagle River area and staying on the chain since 1993 and your place far surpassed any place we have stayed at in the past! It was so comfortable and roomy for our family! The beautiful northwoods charm was felt throughout your home. You have really made it easy for guests with all the details….such as an abundance of towels, coffee filters, laundry soap, soap by the sinks, coffee filters, and a blender so us adults could enjoy a Brandy Alexander ice cream drink after a long day of fun on the water!! The kitchen was so well stocked!! These details are just to name a few! The wildlife in your yard was fascinating, with one of the deer coming right up to us. The location for us was perfect and we plan to come back! It was so nice to meet both of you and chat a bit!Cindy & Randy (608’ers!)
Nice property but the water (well) went out for a day. Booked the property for an annual snowmobile trip but there was no snow. I was unable to get a refund so half the group stayed at the property for the week. The added insurance I purchased from Global was a joke. They DO NOT cover the lack of snow. The only reason people go to the North Woods in the winter is to snowmobile or ice fish. This was a waste of money for the group and VRBO needs to look int another insurance company to partner with.

Property manager fixed water problem (well) day of contact. Owner contacted Vrbo account mgr. suggesting that Vrbo upgrade their insurance coverage for lack of snow conditions. Any reservation should inquire as to the insurance coverage and consider trip insurance.
This is our fourth lakeside rental in the Eagle River area. Hopefully it will be our last because we have found our perfect rental. The floor plan and sleeping arrangements although a little unique downstairs fit our needs perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings were perfect. The decorating is what you hope for when renting a northern Wisconsin lake house. The kitchen appliances and dishes were more plentiful and better than one has the right to expect. The other necessities were high quality. There were twelve bath towels in the upstairs bathroom not to mention hand towels and wash clothes or the similar supply for the downstairs bathroom. The hosts, Guy and Christy, were pleasant and helpful. We stayed only one week but felt like we made two new friends. The dock was great for both our pontoon and our fishing boat. To emphasize how much we enjoyed our stay we have already made our reservation for next June. I just don’t know how it could get any better. Did I mention the screened in porch and the covered unloading area? There is more I could say but I think you get the idea. If you stumble upon this place you can stop looking.
The house was very clean, kitchen was well stocked and house nicely decorated. The lake access would not work for those with mobility issues but it was fine for our family. There were 2 kayaks and one canoe for use. There was a sand area for young ones to play in. The bedroom arrangement was unusual. Upstairs 2 bedrooms and 2 baths were small but totally fine. Lower level was weird because there was a large room like a second living room with a king bed and no privacy whatsoever. Those who used the other lower level bedrooms (a bunk bed in the hallway and a large family bedroom) had to walk right through that room. No one wanted to take that big room as their bedroom for that reason. Suggest drapes or room divider for privacy. Very modern lower level bathroom.
The WiFi was iffy and even after someone came to make improvements it still was not very good for my two adult daughters who had to work from “home.” The north woods area is beautiful with lots of deer and eagles. I can’t say this was a 5 bedroom house in my opinion as stated in description.
