About this property

HISTOIRE DE COEUR - BILLIEME

Nestled in the heart of the Savoyard vineyards, in the Avant-Pays region, this holiday rental enjoys a privileged setting. It is located near the Château de Billième, a former 13th-century fortified house, and the local vineyards—an ideal spot to explore the vineyards, taste Savoie AOC wines, and meet the local winemakers. The area is particularly popular with hikers and cyclists, thanks to its proximity to the Chartreuse Nature Park and the Léman-Méditerranée bike route. Water sports and recreation enthusiasts can try their hand at canoeing and kayaking on the Old Rhône and the Guiers rivers, or enjoy the many water activities available on Lake Bourget (10 km away) and Lake Aiguebelette (20 km away). This charming holiday rental is housed in a large, light-filled building with exposed stone walls and plenty of character. The spaces are generous, featuring expansive living areas, a large kitchen that opens onto the living room, and a colourful, cosy living space. The decor blends vintage finds with artisanal touches, reflecting the owner’s background as a former ceramicist and potter. Outside, the flower-filled, tree-lined garden offers a peaceful setting where you’ll feel right at home from the moment you arrive. This renovated former farmhouse includes one other holiday rental and the owner’s residence. The entrance is on the ground floor; access to the rental is via a staircase. Ground floor: living room, kitchen open to the living area, 3 bedrooms (1 double bed 140 x 190 cm / 1 double bed 140 x 190 cm / 2 single beds 90 x 190 cm). Bathroom (shower), separate toilet, laundry room with washing machine, and pantry. No television in the accommodation. The stove is purely decorative. Private parking for 2 cars. Secure outdoor shed for bicycles and sports equipment. Large shared garden with various relaxation areas and a dining area.
