About this property

Relax and unplug to the sound of the Little River! This cozy cabin is located on the Little River in Townsend with private riverfront access, perfect for fishing, swimming, and tubing! 1/2 mile to Smoky Mountain National Park entrance and 10 minutes to cades cove!

Please be aware that the staircase in the cabin is steep and narrow. Guests from previous management did not have issues with the stairs, but this may not be the best property for you if you have trouble with stairs.

This property shares a parking lot with the Riverstone Lodge. They have a great restaurant and bonfire that our guests are welcome to enjoy! If you do not enjoy close proximity to other guests or a motel/lodge-style environment, this may not be the best cabin for you.

Comfy Beds, Nice River, but Not Much Else

If you are going to just need a place to sleep a couple nights and not spend much time inside this will work. Our biggest issues were the Sugar Ants in the Kitchen despite the many Ant traps in every corner. Second issue was the dark tiny shower on the main floor. The only light in the main floor bathroom is a single bulb (2 bulb fixture but only one bulb) around the corner from the shower which is smaller than an RV shower - you literally bump your elbows on the side when washing your hair. The cabin is old and really could use a remodel to make it more functional. We were only in the area to attend events elsewhere so it was the location we needed and the beds were comfortable for a rental.

It could've been better

The cabin it self it's nice and cozy. I was very disappointed that the sheets for both sofa beds were very dirty. It had blood and brown stains, crumps and dirt. There was not extra blankets. And beign that this cabin is for 8 people we only had 5 towels and they were old and bleached out. I had to share towels with my family for the 4 days we stayed. Not sure why we pay cleaning fee for when we got detailed instructions that we basically had to clean everything out. Not very satisfied at all.

Peaceful Smokies retreat

This cabin was so amazing. On the peaceful side of the Smokies, right on the river, and a hot tub to boot! Check in and out were super simple and we received very clear messages from the owner on the rules of the stay. Cannot recommend this cabin enough!

Cabin in Townsend

This property was easy to rent and very easy to get to in the beautiful little town of Townsend. We loved the creek behind it and the accommodations were great! The dishwasher, however, needs some attention and only one stove eye was working. I would highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful stay in the mountains!!
