📌 GUEST ACCESS:

- The day before your arrival we will message you with check-in details. We are happy to offer you Contact-less, Keyless check-in. Code is changed after check-out.

- The cabin is on a one-lane mountain road for about a half mile from the main road for a true mountain retreat experience. It is part of the experience and well worth it :) There are a couple of tight turns and the driveway is on a gradual incline but we’ve driven up in a hybrid, standard car and large truck/SUV without any issues.

- Parking available for 3 cars MAX, though it is not motorcycle/trailer/camper friendly.

Amazing time!
The cabin was fully stocked and everything was labled clearly. We enjoyed family time in the mountains with some great Christmas movies and memories that will last forever. The path to the cabin could use a little work but i think once all of the construction on that road is finished that will help out a lot. We truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and felt like home! I wish it would have not rained so much but we still had an amazing time!

Family Vacation at Dancing Bear Cabin
We rented Dancing Bear cabin with our daughter and her family. Together we had four adults and two boys, ages 6 and 10. The cabin accommodated all of us comfortably and the game room downstairs was a big hit with the boys. The cabin is nicely maintained, with lots of personal decorative touches and it is also well situated to all of the area attractions. The view from the porch, though partially blocked by trees, is still very nice. The surrounding cabins are closer than we expected based on the listing pictures, and there is also new cabin construction nearby. The access road was more challenging then anticipated and our daughters vehicle could not make it up the initial steep gravel incline and around the first sharp turn, so we had to find somewhere safe to park her vehicle for a week. We contacted the host, who responded quickly but could not help us. We finally found a place 30 minutes away that charged us $200.00 to park, adding an unexpected expense to our trip. Since we also needed two vehicles to transport our whole group at the same time, having just one vehicle was an added inconvenience. The cabin itself is beautiful, but the problems we had with the access road and that the cabin is in a more populated area than we expected, is why we rated it as only four stars.

Peaceful
We had a wonderful family getaway at Dancing Bear Cabin. The property is secluded and quiet. The view is limited but still beautiful. Our family of seven had plenty of room to relax. The home has an upstairs bedroom with a king bed and master bath. On main floor, a queen bedroom with large full bath ( shared to the main living room area with separate door). Living room couch pulls out to queen sleeper. Downstairs game room with a queen pullout sofa ( not secluded as it sits directly at bottom of the stairs). Overall, plenty of sleeping room and plenty of room to enjoy the home and the peaceful privacy. The road leading up to cabin is very tight and some parts under construction. Property owners were very thoughtful and attentive throughout our trip. Overall, We had a great stay and would return to stay here.

We had a great time at the cabin. It is clean and very well maintained. We would highly recommend it. The owners are great with the communications. The mountain road to get to the cabin is interesting take it slow and you will have no issues in a SUV. Ground clearance in a low car could be a problem but I have a low riding SUV and had no issues. The cabin has a 14-50 plug outside so making charging your electric car a breeze. You will not be disappointed in booking this cabin.
