This property was easy to rent and very easy to get to in the beautiful little town of Townsend. We loved the creek behind it and the accommodations were great! The dishwasher, however, needs some attention and only one stove eye was working. I would highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful stay in the mountains!!

Thank you so much! We will make sure the stove and dishwasher issues are addressed immediately!
This cabin was a perfect place for peace and quiet. Initially, it appears to be a busy location but you only need to go to the back porch to find what you are looking for. We stayed at three different locations during our last vacation to the Smokies and this one was the favorite of family members. There is good food within walking distance. We will be back!

Comfy Beds, Nice River, but Not Much Else
If you are going to just need a place to sleep a couple nights and not spend much time inside this will work. Our biggest issues were the Sugar Ants in the Kitchen despite the many Ant traps in every corner. Second issue was the dark tiny shower on the main floor. The only light in the main floor bathroom is a single bulb (2 bulb fixture but only one bulb) around the corner from the shower which is smaller than an RV shower - you literally bump your elbows on the side when washing your hair. The cabin is old and really could use a remodel to make it more functional. We were only in the area to attend events elsewhere so it was the location we needed and the beds were comfortable for a rental.

It could've been better
The cabin it self it's nice and cozy. I was very disappointed that the sheets for both sofa beds were very dirty. It had blood and brown stains, crumps and dirt. There was not extra blankets. And beign that this cabin is for 8 people we only had 5 towels and they were old and bleached out. I had to share towels with my family for the 4 days we stayed. Not sure why we pay cleaning fee for when we got detailed instructions that we basically had to clean everything out. Not very satisfied at all.
This cabin was so amazing. On the peaceful side of the Smokies, right on the river, and a hot tub to boot! Check in and out were super simple and we received very clear messages from the owner on the rules of the stay. Cannot recommend this cabin enough!
This cabin is great! Very accessible to every thing! The river being right out back was great! Beautiful views! I would definitely stay here again!

The Cabin was way over sold
I will say that the view was beautiful. However The Cabin lacked a lot to be desired. The cabin had stairs that was more like a ladder.
With the washer and dryer being on the second floor that makes washing and drying difficult, especially for anyone with any kind of mobility issues. My mother is 73 years old, this is definitely not the cabin for anyone that is elderly. This is definitely not a handicap accessible rental at all.
Nice, big cabin with plenty of room to spread out. Easy access down to the creek with patio right on the river. Owner was supper nice and communicated promptly when I had questions. Highly recommended!
Property was in a perfect spot super close to the national park, the river right out the back door and a pretty backyard view to wake up to. Corbin was a great host, had some a/c problems but handled it and communicated about it better than I could have asked for. Definitely would stay again!
Beautiful scenery location and clean home. Pull out beds are great for kids.
Great location for a family trip. Clean home, with a great porch for watching the tubers or allowing kids to swim. Upstairs bedroom area has a kitchenette and a pull out couch, but no door on the bedroom, keep that in mind for privacy. For a tubing experience, I highly recommend renting the $10 tubes from across the street and go up about a mile up river and float down to the house. There are rafting experiences around but a bit pricy for the same adventure. Don’t forget your water shoes, rocks are slippery.
Highly recommend the brewery by the IGA and the Apple Valley restaurant by the general store. The breakfast was homemade and amazing biscuits.
Will definitely keep in mind for future getaways.
