Great place
Everythjng was nice about this place with the exception of heat building up in the afternoon. 4 Fans were available that helped. Very spacious, and clean.

Pandora at Blanshard
Excellent location and very quiet. However the dishwasher needs replacing as it is almost impossible to start (latch is faulty) Also the stove is very old and the vacuum really doesn't work. Good for a short stay.

Generally Disappointing
Well located for walking access to downtown. Lay out of unit was great! Sadly, it was not really a pet friendly area - grassy areas were difficult to find. The number of homeless people in the area made it intimidating to walk the dog in the evening. Daytime walking also felt uncomfortable in the immediate area during the day. The apartment itself was VERY uncomfortable to come back to during the day - sun exposure with the wall of windows heated the whole place up. Standing fans were helpful but a free standing air conditioning unit or wall-mount unit would have made it bearable. The furniture was decorative but uncomfortable. The neighborhood was extremely noisy - pile driver at 7 a.m., homeless people yelling at all hours, multiple sirens, traffic noises. The hosts were very helpful with reference to wifi issues, and we appreciated their provision of requested linens. The bed cover in the master bedroom was stained. While useful, the washer and dryer unit was very loud and seemed to need repair. Other appliances and kitchen supplies were excellent.
