The houseboat is in a perfect location to experience local wildlife and nature. With short distances to local food and state parks, staying here is a delightful experience
Our check-in was so convenient that even after our almost 5 hour drive, we still had time to get our kayaks into the river once we got our things unloaded. The space is cozy, but has everything you need, plus a few you didn't realize you might. It was quiet and peaceful our entire stay, and we cannot wait to return soon.
Absolutely loved our couple days at the Banana Boat! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Exceptionally clean and cute. Hope to get back soon for a longer stay.
The property was adorable and comfortable. Everything you need is here. The views are breathtaking and the fishing is amazing. The hosts were kind and attentive to any need. We will definitely be returning.
Banana Boat is a great experience with wonderful host Susy and Shelby. Very clean and there is a fully stocked kitchen. Good fishing and wildlife in the area. I highly recommend this place and will be visiting in the near future.
This houseboat is located directly on the Carabelle River. It’s the perfect getaway spot for a couple. Everything you need is in the house (beach towels, sunscreen, cooking pots, pans and utensils, etc). The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We had a great time and plan to revisit soon.
Peaceful and adorable little houseboat. We spent two nights enjoying the river and quiet. Best sleep ever in the Yellow Banana! We would love to return one day. Susie made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
The view and the stay was so peaceful nothing like it. Fishing was good. Hosts was absolutely amazing and caring and thoughtful. We will definitely be coming back many times. Loved the boat house and the set up had everything you could possibly need.
We absolutely loved our time on the houseboat. The location is perfect to go explore all the surrounding towns. Then we were able to spend our evenings relaxing on the dock while we watched the sun set. Shelby and Susie were amazing hosts. They had tons of recommendations and are just good, quality people. We would totally come stay again.
We had such a great time staying at the houseboat. It rained quite a bit but we had a very fun and relaxing time! It was very near to food and beach. My husband fished off dock and caught several fish. Even saw some manatees.!
This charming houseboat was such a nice change of pace from a typical VRBO or hotel. It was so clean and well appointed with everything you could need. The size is perfect for a solo visit for some down time, or a couples stay. The dock is so enjoyable and the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Suzy and her husband were the perfect hosts … available if you needed them, but very much your own place on their property. We hope to stay here again one day!
The Banana Boat was what we expected from the description and photos. Quiet and peaceful. Shelby and Susie were gracious hosts. Very clean and all the comforts of home. The shower small but functional. We had a great time
The Banana Boat is a great place to stay. Remodeled Houseboat on Carrabelle River with a large dock and great fishing. The hosts are very hospitable and friendly. We could not have asked for a better place to spend our 10 yr Anniversary. We hope to go back in December. Five stars all the way.
This houseboat is clean, tidy and comfortable but most importantly it's a super fun rental! You get to stay in a floating apartment...how cool is that? The view is beautiful, the owners are charming, and the experience is unique. We highly recommend it.
Beautiful, quaint and secluded houseboat for 2 on the Carrabelle River. Enjoy spectacular sunrises and watch the tidal birds on the river with your morning coffee. Houseboat has every amenity you might want/need. The scenic, fishing town of Carrabelle has a lovely public beach that allows leashed dogs, not always permitted on all Florida beaches. Highly recommend this property.
My husband and I loved staying on the Banana Boat.
Soothing water sounds, observing the tides and water currants while reading, fishing and taking naps - a glorious way to spend 3 nights.
The bed was very comfortable and the boat is well equipped for daily needs.
Examples, bath towels are large, 100% soft white cotton. Good water pressure on the boat.
Besides the indoor spaces, the boat is on a nice size dock providing outdoor space to enjoy.
We had a great stay on the Banana Boat! The dock was so spacious and there’s plenty of room for fishing, sunbathing or even a nap in a lounge chair. The boat was clean and tidy. It was well stocked and has plenty of room for 2 people. Although not handicapped friendly it was easy for us to navigate our way to the boat. In town try Bow Tie Bakery. My husband swears they have the best biscuits and sausage gravy. One town over in Eastpoint you’ve got to try The Red Pirate Bar and Grill. I had a seafood platter and everything was delicious. If you’re looking for a small town getaway with a great view you’ve gotta stay on the Banana Boat!
