About this property

Cozy Cabin - Walk to Lake Granby - Family Friendly

Four Pines Family Cabin is your cozy mountain retreat located between Lake Granby and Shadow Mountain Lake. Less than a 10 min walk to Lake Granby and 10 min drive to Grand Lake Village.

Newly updated and stylishly decorated 2 bed, 1 bath cabin, sleeps up to 5. Features include a gas “wood burning” stove, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, wi-fi, and deck with mountain and distant lake views.

The main bedroom contains a King size bed, and there is a twin over full bunk bed in the second bedroom. A Queen size pull-out sofa is in the main living area.

The cabin is kid-friendly with a Pack-n-Play, high-chair, toys and books.

There is an external security camera at the front door for your added safety and for ours as well. There are no pets or partys allowed, and if it is suspected that these policies were violated, we will look at the footage.

The property does not contain a washer and dryer, however there is a laundromat 10 minutes from the cabin.

The Grand Lake area provides an abundance of summer and winter activities. The area boasts endless trails for hiking, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. Enjoy fishing, boating, and “beaching” on any of the three lakes during the summer months. On Grand Lake’s main street, you will find restaurants, gift shops, live theatre, and community events. Grand Lake is your ideal vacation destination!

Mountain roads can be winding and steep. We recommend four-wheel drive and/or chains during the winter.

The property has two outdoor parking spaces directly in front of the cabin.

Really cool roomy cabin
Felt like we got a great value on this rental. Great location on our Colorado ski tour between days at Winter Park and Steamboat. Very beautiful peaceful setting. Nearby RMNP would like to visit again in warm weather.

Adorable, clean, warm cottage near Grand Lake
Very easy experience, easy to get to place that is cozy and warm. Some neighbors are closer than expected but it was generally very quiet and just a couple miles from Grand Lake.

Why they chose this property

We have been vacationing in the Grand Lake area for years enjoying the quaint
village, lakes, and nature that abounds. At the end of 2021, we decided to purchase a cabin of our own to use when we visit the area. We are very excited to share our “happy place” with guests like you.

What makes this property unique

The redwood clad part of the cabin was originally built in the 1950s. The addition with the bedrooms and garage were added in the 1980s. The cabin is cozy, and like many older cabins in this area, is a bit quirky in its design. We have worked diligently to make Four Pine Family Cabin a place we are excited to enjoy and share.
