Stony Creek Camp is situated on a 50-acre property at the end of a private road, where wildlife abounds. This spacious rental offer a total of 6 bedrooms, 4 baths and plenty of privacy for up to 14 guests. The Village of Saranac Lake is 20 minutes away and the Village of Lake Placid is only 35 minutes away.

The Main House is the gathering area, featuring a cozy open living area that holds 3 sofas (one is a futon sleeper), additional seating, 50” TV, and sliding glass doors that present panoramic views. The dining area is a few steps up from the living room, with a table large enough to seat all. The kitchen offers plenty of space for preparing meals with 2 electric ovens, a heat induction cooktop, and an island. The master bedroom has a king bed, bureau and closet; the 2nd bedroom holds 2 twin beds, bureau and closet, and the full bath has a shower and double sinks.

The 2 story Boathouse, built in 1914, is accessed by a lit pathway from the Main House down several steps with handrail. The upper floor overlooks the lake with an open living area that holds a King bed, bureau, closet, desk with chair, and a TV with a DVD player with several DVDs. The bathroom has an antique claw foot tub which has a shower conversion.
Several boats, including 2 canoes, 2 kayaks, and 3 stand-up paddle boards, are stored in the lower level of the Boathouse, along with life preservers of every size, water toys, and deck chairs. There is a large swimming and sunbathing dock attached to the Boathouse by a ramp. A small beach is nearby to launch small boats, and for young children to splash in the lake.
The depth off the front dock is probably about 8 to 10 feet, so fine for diving. The back (towards the boathouse) is only about 4’. There are no weeds.
Maximum depth of the pond is about 40 feet

The 1920s Cottage is a short walk up the hill, or may be directly accessed by continuing on the driveway to the upper area of the property. It has 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds each and a bedroom with a queen bed. There are 2 bathrooms (one with a small shower and the other with a tub/shower), and a full kitchen. Limited WiFi is available there, but the small TV uses a satellite dish for reception.
A large porch along the front of the cottage is the ideal gathering area.
A full-sized tennis court and a large playing field are also found on the upper level of the property.
