Our whole family enjoyed staying at Stony Creek Camp! It's in a lovely location and it worked out perfectly for our three couples to stay in the three separate houses. The lake was gorgeous at all hours and it felt so good to be away from our daily lives. It's a very special place. We highly recommend it!

All I can say is WOW! We had a fabulous time at this camp. It is the most well appointed rental we’ve ever been to. The kitchens were well stocked with everything you need to make meals. The boat house was stocked with all the water toys and boats and life vests. The spaces were all welcoming and comfortable. We had three generations either is and everyone had their own private living space. The grandparents stayed in the boat house while each larger family stayed in the main house and cottage. You can really tell that this camp has been cherished through the generations by its’s family. We will definitely be back. It was magical and charming.

Family Vacation

This Property is Beautiful and Very Private! Great Vacation spot with plenty of space and lots of water toys! The lake is immaculate and the views were beautiful! The main house, cottage and boat house worked perfectly for our family. The fishing was great also! We will definitely be back.

Vacation 2024

Another Great Vacation at this Beautiful property!! This was our second stay here and always fun and plenty to do! Kayaks, canoes, stand up boards, fishing, swimming, all on a huge private property!! With a Main House, Cottage and boathouse there is plenty of space for everyone! Very Nice to spend Time at this property and will definitely return again, Thank You!

Wonderful wonderful!

Our week at Stony Creek Camp was glorious in every way! The camp was clean and welcoming and easy to be in, the lake was perfect, the boathouse well-equipped with boats and boards and water toys, and it was easy to communicate with the property manager ahead of time. This was our second time staying at the camp and we have loved it both times. Thank you for making our stay so easy and relaxing!

Excellent Property!!

Our third stay at this great property with a Cottage,Main house and Boathouse!! Secluded away from all the stress! Plenty of space for us and lots to do, Kayaks , Canoe's and stand up boards for use! The houses were Clean and well stocked. Outstanding Vacation and we will definitely return for a 4th trip next Year..... Thank You!!!

GREAT WEEK

Great property for large extended family. Spread out between the main house, cottage, and boat house, but still able to gather all together at the main house for meals, and games and campfire. Great place to swim and relax, Kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming every chance they got.and we played games on the tennis court almost every day

We chose Stony Creek Camp because it could handle our multi-generational family gathering of 14 with 3 separate buildings set in a quiet area with direct access to water. Kristina’s place more than met our expectations: we were able to eat together and gather together in the Main House, sleep comfortably apart, and loved the boathouse and all of the water toys and lawn games provided. The quiet and beautiful setting where we could see the herons and hear the loons was fantastic.Hopefully we will be able to return!

Wonderful visit - highly recommend!

We have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years and this was absolutely one of the best experiences we have had doing so. There were 9 of us ages 12-75. The homes were very clean, beds, bedding, towels really comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked. The boathouse had high quality kayaks, SUPs, plenty to enjoy. The setting is beautiful, pond warm and clear. We had a wonderful family get together here and hope to return next year!

We'll be back

This is the 2nd year we've stayed at Stony Creek Camp, and it's definitely one of our favorite properties. The large expansive grounds are great for large families to spread out, but still be together all week. Kids spent countless hours jumping in, paddleboarding, and swimming off the dock. The dock is also large enough for all the adults to sit on and watch kids play. Fishing was good, we caught largemouth, pike, perch, and sun fish. Can't wait to come back

Wonderful

We love this place. Thank you for sharing it with our family. It is so relaxing, private, spacious and well kept. Just the right layout and openness for our family of 12. The kayaks and tennis court replaced our kids' screens this week and we're grateful they have found a healthy new hobby :). Thank you for the extremely responsive communication, Kristina and Jerry! Adirondack Cabins

This property in the woods was perfect for our family of 12. There are 3 cabins to spread out, each clean and comfortable with that rustic charm--so peaceful and quiet!. Firepit with wood provided for S'Mores. Canoes and kayaks and plenty of life jackets for exploring the Stony Creek ponds. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with many extras not often provided in rentals.Lots of games and puzzles for all ages! plenty of room to spread out.- fishing and hiking opportunities close by!Tennis court was a plus and croquet set was a hit with grandkids.Visited The Wild Center-fun for all ages! We visited with 3 families- 6 nights, and can honestly say that this was one of the most charming and all round greatest weeks we’ve had! The property is magical. We love the family history of the estate. All 3 buildings are great and charming in their own rights. The “ponds” and location are literally an Adirondack quiet water paradise. Endless paddling and incredible fishing. All 12 of us caught numerous fish- some monsters! Hope to get back to that dock, gazebo, tennis court and field. Caught the meteor shower! The water is so clean clear and warm. Effortless swimming. Even the Eagle and Loon were around all day and night as if they were getting paid. Truly a great place if a spread out, quiet (no motor boats), peaceful and private lake front setting is what you’re looking for. If you love to paddle and fish, swim and lounge, grill and take epic pictures - you have to go here! All accommodations were as described with no issues.

Wood Family Vacation 2024

The Stoney Creek camp was an absolutely perfect location for our family vacation. The flexibility of having the three different buildings really worked for our group of 10. The main house was large enough for everyone to gather in very comfortably. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and plates, cups, coffee maker, pots, and pans everything you would need. We were pleasantly surprised to find a crockpot. Having the kayaks paddle boards and canoes right there for our use was a true bonus. The lake is secluded and quiet, but close enough to Tupper Lake and Saranac to enjoy all the amenities of those areas. We saw deer and fox loons and ducks, chipmunks, and red squirrels. We will definitely consider this property again for our family vacation. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The booking process was effortless. The host answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. I really cannot say enough about this absolutely fantastic property. Our group had such a memorable time , if you’re looking for a property for a large group, absolutely consider this one!

Forever Wild

This is a beautiful property located at the end of the road so if you're looking for a road less traveled, here it is. There are three houses. The main house with the kitchen is centrally located between the boathouse and the quest house. All houses are incredibly well stocked with everything from towels to games to life jackets to condiments to books. Stony Creek Pond is great for swimming and fishing. From this rental, you see no other homes or structures. What you do see are Bald Eagles, Loons, fish jumping, canoes gliding by. It is a spectacular view. Beaver homes await your viewing just under the bridge and to the left as you paddle. An eagle's nest is perched in a tall tree on a tiny island you can paddle to. Gather around the fire pit at night and roast marshmallows...the wood is provided. Our family ranging from age 4 - 72 had a grand time.

Awesome place for a friends/family get away.

As advertised. Our first trip to the Adirondacks and loved it. We are an “outdoorsy” group of 11 and we were never bored. The property is fully stocked with gear. Kayaks, canoes, bocce, tennis croquette. It is so quiet and peaceful, but close enough to town for whatever you need. Loons called every night. While the fishing was off because of weather changes- my son caught a 28 in pike a 5 min paddle from the boathouse, - and I caught a small pike right off the dock. Definitely recommend

A hidden gem, perfect for family groups

What a wonderful property this is, tucked away on a quiet lake, surrounded by nature! Unlike many of the other lake houses we've rented in the ADKs over the years, this one is situated on a lake that is largely without motorboats, which made it feel especially quiet. Between the 3 houses we had ample room for multiple family groups and a total of 11 people. The kitchen is very well supplied, the beds were comfortable, linens and lots of towels were provided. Those staying in the boathouse were able to fall asleep to the gentle sounds of the water. We saw (and heard) loons and other ducks, a bald eagle, and on a clear night the Milky Way was visible. We loved our time here and can't wait to come back!

One of our best vacations EVER!!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and relaxing. My boys enjoyed the lake, SUP and learning to fish. We played lots of games too. It was nice to have family members sleeping in different houses. We enjoyed the tennis courts and my dog also enjoyed the lake. It's a great vacation getaway!

As advertised!

It was great! Definitely rural and secluded, yet close to a lot of things to do. The tennis court was in better shape than the pictures indicated. While we only had two families there, it would have been great to have three.
