This home could not have been more comfortable and inviting. It is spacious, clean, and well-stocked for guests. The property is peaceful and scenic and conveniently located near town. We loved everything about our stay and hope to return!

Great lakefront home with wonderful hosts

We had a great stay at B's Hive and Cherrie was a terrific host, not only ensuring that we had everything we needed but also was available to answer any questions we had. The large home was great for entertaining, and the lakefront access was great for swimming and playing with the canoes and paddle boats. Great venue for barbecues and outdoor gatherings around the fire pit - I would definitely recommend and hope to return.

The Best Place To Stay at Lake Seranac

Everything was more than advertised to be. The spacious accommodations, front Porch , grounds, sand beach & views were spectacular. Cherrie responded immediately to any questions we had. Can’t wait to return.

House is amazing. Just absolutely warm, charming, comfortable atmosphere. Location on the lake is excellent for sunsets and it’s 5 min to town. Overall stellar stay. Great experience for my family including kids aged 6,3,1! They loved the Sandy beach and huge shallow Sandy bottom area to play in water.

This is our second time renting here and it was as perfect as we remembered! Very accommodating for our 85-year olds- master suite with accessible bathroom, easy access to entire first floor using a walker. Everything you could possibly require in the kitchen, plenty of linens, lakefront beach, firepit with outdoor bar, boat dock...what more could you need?

Beautiful spot on Lower Saranac. Three generations with perfect first floor for elderly parents. Kitchen was well stocked. Comfortable beds and pillows. Only negative was water pressure in lower back shower. Amazingly hot kitchen water with pressure. Would stay again.

A great week at the Bs'Hive

The Bs’Hive sits on what is probably the best piece of real estate on Lower Saranac. Grassy lawn, sandy beach and a magnificent view of the lake from the boat house deck. We spent evenings soaking in the view from the fire pit. Its secluded but at the same time, just minutes from town. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. Cherrie is remarkably responsive and clearly takes great care to ensure guests are comfortable.

Perfect beach, perfect lake, warm spacious home

Wow, this property really exceeded my expectations. As we rounded the corner to drive down the wooded driveway for the first time, I couldn't believe how serene and secluded it was, with a perfect spot on ampersand Bay. With our five kids 6 years old and under, our group quickly eliminated the serenity and turned the mood to boisterous as we jumped in the lake. We rented a pontoon boat from Saranac lake marina and loved going out to the tiny islands and sand bars to swim around and take walks through the 'enchanted forest' as we called it, looking for island fairies. The house has an amazing kid friendly beach that is shallow and seaweed free and is outfitted with paddle boats and lots of fun inflatables to play with in the beach. The house itself is vast, with a surprise bedroom-sized closet off the downstairs bedroom, and lots of bathrooms. The kitchen is really well stocked, though if I could add one thing of would be a really large frying pan or wok to help cook big meals for the group. The home has rustic charm, kind of 1960's lodge ranch mixed with modern farmhouse accents. It is funky and has character. We loved our time there so much and hope to return many times.

Great week on the lake

We had a lovely vacation at the B’s Hive. Host was incredibly responsive, house was impeccably clean, and kitchen well-stocked. The outside space: lawn, docks and sandy beachfront were the show stoppers. We brought our own kayaks and it was a joy to leave them on the beach for daily excursions. The fire pit was used almost every evening….which enable multiple evenings of s’mores which the grandkids loved!

Best of the ADK

Our family had a wonderful time. Cherrie was fabulous to communicate with. Home was so spacious, with 12 people we were never on top of each other. Kitchen had everything you could need, beds so comfortable. Lake was crystal clear, from fishing, kayaking and swimming we all had a vacation to remember. Look forward to coming back!

Saranac Lake Vacation

House and location and setting are beautiful. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. It does sleep 12 but guests should know that works only if 4 people, not 2 are in each of 2 bedrooms upstairs. Otherwise it sleeps only 8 comfortably. The upstairs which has 3 bedrooms has only one full bathroom. The other full bathroom with a shower is downstairs adjacent to the laundry room. This is a somewhat inconvenient arrangement as some of the upstairs guests need to come downstairs, walk through the living room, kitchen, and laundry room to reach the other full bathroom. Several light bulbs throughout the house were out. I would suggest checking this before a rental begins Otherwise everything was wonderful

More than we hoped for!

B's Hive was so much better than we expected! Incredible property on a quiet end of the lake and so close to town. The marina was a five-minute drive/boat ride away. The home had amenities to meet our every need. We took full advantage of the dock, beach, fire pit, deck, and new outside bar. The beds and linens were very comfortable. First floor bedroom suite was perfect for grandparents. We are looking forward to visiting again!

Unbeatable lakefront location

Summer on the lake doesn’t get any better. We enjoyed many hours sitting on the large deck and fishing off the dock. A great spot for families to unplug and connect.
