This beautiful condo features a king bed in the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a queen in the guest bedroom, a bonus bunk area with a twin over twin bunkbed, and a living room sleeper sofa to comfortably sleep up to 8 guests. When you're not enjoying the beach, relax on the private balcony overlooking the pool. Come see why Destin West Gulfside 212 is the place to be!

At Destin West you can enjoy extreme water fun in the 5000 square foot pool with a kiddie area, a 700-foot Lazy River, heated pool with waterfall, or one of two hot tubs. The Heron building boasts its own bayside pool that is heated year-round! Enjoy your view of the Choctawhatchee Bay, while the kids enjoy the lazy river. Cross over the sky bridge to the Gulf beaches without worrying about traffic. The beachside also has a state-of-the-art fitness center right on the beach. Charcoal grills and picnic tables on both the bayside and beachside make grilling out inviting and fun. As a guest at Destin West, you can enjoy access to the pools, bars, and restaurants located at the Island Beach Resort at Destin West beachside.

We could see the beach how it was angled looking over the pool. But it’s a great place to stay and will stay again for sure. The kids and I loved it and the amenities that were provided!

it was a very nice place , i was there visiting my son, it was nice we could hang out together, i had a little issue but was straightened out quickly. the bed was so comfortable and i slept great! one thing i would like is a fan, im from Ny and it was a bit warm for me. ceiling fans helped. it was a great location! so much nicer than a hotel.

Nice size bedrooms. It was clean and everything in the unit worked. The large pool closest to this unit was not working for 4 days which was unfortunate. The lazy river is quite a walk from the unit but it was nice and relaxing. The unit is not too far from the beach. Beach service for us was complementary. Large balcont overlooking the large pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay there again. Great restaurants close by with delicious seafood dishes.

Overall a good stay but the property listing needs updated as there was no hair dryer in the condo. There is NO pocket (sliding) door to the twin bunkbed area. The floors were not cleaned prior to our arrival (feet/socks got black walking and knees of infant crawling). Overall good stock of kitchen appliance. Some rust in bathroom and closets. Decorations were great.

Not my favorite condo!

We have done a family beach vacation every year for 16 years now visiting Galveston, Mexico, Alabama and Florida. We have stayed in many condos and this particular condo was my least favorite. The property itself is wonderful, but the condo needs some work! We booked late this year and this was our only choice at the time. The pictures look better than the actual condo. Management was very accommodating and great to work with. Location of this unit was perfect, but it lacked some cleanliness and needs updating big time! The beds were comfortable for the most part, but the master mattress sinks in a bit in the middle. Patio furniture is awful and very uncomfortable!! The patio itself needs a good cleaning. The curtains in the living room need to be cleaned or replaced and the carpet in the bedrooms needs to be replaced. The pool and lazy River were wonderful! It’s a quick walk to the beach and the boardwalk with several wonderful places to eat and shop. There is a walk up bar as well. Again, the property was wonderful and this unit was in a great location, it just needs some updating! RealJoy was great to work with! I would visit again, but chose a different unit.
