Very clean, comfy home literally located minutes from the local parks. The host was very responsive to our questions prior to check in. They also provided several downloads with park information and directions, plenty of restaurant suggestions which were all spot on! They also included a voucher for complimentary wine tasting at a local vineyard who has a small store in town.

We really enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable and well appointed house. Check in was easy and we liked being able to park our car in a garage. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was so comfortable and clean. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and the beds were so comfortable! Elaine was immediately available to help us with a question even though she was on a cruise at the time.A perfect weekend!

The Joliet is a very well equipped and convenient location for visiting the Illinois Valley for whatever reason.Starved Rock State Park, LaSalle, Peru, Utica, Oglesby… all very nearby.Clean, Convenient, Cute Accommodation.I highly recommend.

Nice accommodations near Starved Rock

Nice, roomy old house - great for two couples with plenty of room to spread out and relax after hiking with comfortable beds. Loved all the little touches - handwritten welcome note, toiletries in case you forget any and lots of seasonings and condiments in a fully stocked kitchen. Super close to Starved Rock and nice winery and breweries.

Starved Rock

This house was perfect. We needed a place to stay near Starved Rock & this cute little house was leaps and bounds above staying in a hotel room for pretty much the same price honestly. Would stay again if we find ourselves in the area in the future.

Excellent Stay for Weekend Getaway

Myself and my two brothers stayed at the Joliet for a weekend spring break fishing trip. The house was perfect as it was only ten minutes away from Starved Rock and very close to a lot of good restaurants. The house was very clean and comfortable as well. We had a great stay and created many great memories. Thanks so much for letting us stay.

4th of July family vacation.

Property was as listed, very nice and we had a great time with no issues with it. And Elaine was good enough to provide us with a listing of things to do during our holiday stay. Much thanks and if we decide to go to the same area again we will definitely stay at the property.

Lovely Cottage
