About the host
Hosted by Amy Parker Barrow
My husband Joey and I love coming to the mountains for a nice quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Joey is an avid snowboarder, while I am an avid shopper. I enjoy visiting all of the locally owned shops, checking out all of the unique items they offer. We decided last year to purchase our own home away from home here on Sugar Mountain, to give us more time here whenever we needed to getaway from it all. The centralized location of this home is perfect for his snowboarding and my shopping. Just a short walk to the ski lodge and a short drive for me to enjoy all the shopping in the nearby towns. Joey and I decided in August 2021 to share our beautiful home with others, so they would be able to enjoy our little piece of paradise. We hope you are able to enjoy all the beauty that surrounds our Mountain Serenity.
Why they chose this property
Mountain Serenity is centrally located to so many wonderful things to do. Places within a short driving distance like Grandfather Mountain, quaint little town of Banner Elk, Linville Falls, Blowing Rock, Beech Mountain (additional skiing), Boone, Wilderness Alpine Coaster located right outside Sugar Village, multiple ATV/UTV rentals, Hawksnest Snow tubing and Ziplining, Tweetsie Railroad, Land of Oz, Apple Hill Farms (animals and apples what more could you want), and so much more!
What makes this property unique
Convenient walkability to the ski lodge and slopes, quiet one-way street, first house on the street.
